Set in the middle of chestnut wood and with a small olive grove behind it, the Villa has 8 beds to which you can add another 2 places on a sofa. The 4 bedrooms of the structure are served by 2 bathrooms. Outside the large swimming pool of 12 meters long by 6 wide, will offer you the right refreshment on summer days even if the area, more than 300 meters above sea level, is rather windy and cool due to the presence of many trees. . By the pool you can relax on deck chairs to enjoy sunbathing or a nice relaxing break. Also outside, the structure has a large private parking area.
The house, entirely made of stone, has a large green garden where you can stroll or indulge in your favorite activities such as outdoor sports, yoga classes, reading, and much more. In addition to a covered patio furnished with tables and chairs, there is also a barbecue area with a wood oven. The choice of exposed beams for the ceilings, terracotta bricks for the floors, and wood practically everywhere, internally distinguish the house which has very large and welcoming rooms. In the living room with a fireplace and sofa, there is a mezzanine with an iron staircase leading to the sleeping area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob with 5 burners, oven, hood, sink, and fridge with freezer.
The 4 bedrooms will welcome you in a very warm environment with iron, masonry, or canopy beds and wooden chests. One of the bedrooms also overlooks a small terrace from which you can enjoy a unique view of the landscape and the garden of the house. Villa Ginevra is located on the border with Tuscany, 20 minutes by car from Cortona and about thirty from Lake Trasimeno. It is the ideal starting point for planning excursions to some cities of art such as Perugia and Arezzo.
Perugia is a beautiful medieval city in Umbria, rich in history and art, and its surroundings include evident elements of the Etruscan and the Roman civilizations. The modern part of town is dominated by the presence of its prestigious university which creates a pleasant buzz. There are interesting attractions and a vibrant day scene as well as nightlife with great restaurants and nightspots that make it a very lively place. The historical center displays labyrinth alleys, beautiful arched stairways, and piazzas framed by magnificent palazzi. Its location is offered for daily excursions to places such as Assisi, Spello, and Gubbio. Perugia is just a couple of hours drive north of Rome.
Important sights in the city include the Etrurian Well that is not only a historical site, but is today still the main water source in the city. Besides the well, there are many Etrurian tombs. The 'artistic' center of Perugia revolves around Piazza IV Novembre, where still stands part of the walls that once belonged to the Etruscan city and were accessed using the ancient gates such as the Porta della Mandorla, Porta Marzia and Porta Trasimeno. Other sights of religious importance are the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, Basilica of San Domenico and San Pietro church.
