The two-floor house has a kitchen with a domestic fireplace to use for warming up on the coldest days. The environment is fully equipped: table for 4 people, sink, 5-burner stove, oven, refrigerator. The living area is intimate and cozy. Upstairs you will find the sleeping area with two bedrooms, one of which is equipped with two single beds, a TV corner with a sofa, a reading and writing corner, and a second double bedroom. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub.

Throughout the house, there is period furniture with its beautiful charm transmitted from the past to the present day. Villa Ventura is located a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful villages in Italy in a strategic position to reach the main places of historical and cultural interest in the area: Arezzo, with its monuments and its antiques stands, Sansepolcro, the birthplace of Piero della Francesca, then Città di Castello, Assisi, and many others. From here you can also leave for interesting food and wine tours to discover well-known wineries or historic oil mills.

About the Location

Italy, Umbria, Perugia

Perugia is a beautiful medieval city in Umbria, rich in history and art, and its surroundings include evident elements of the Etruscan and the Roman civilizations. The modern part of town is dominated by the presence of its prestigious university which creates a pleasant buzz. There are interesting attractions and a vibrant day scene as well as nightlife with great restaurants and nightspots that make it a very lively place. The historical center displays labyrinth alleys, beautiful arched stairways, and piazzas framed by magnificent palazzi. Its location is offered for daily excursions to places such as Assisi, Spello, and Gubbio. Perugia is just a couple of hours drive north of Rome.

Important sights in the city include the Etrurian Well that is not only a historical site, but is today still the main water source in the city. Besides the well, there are many Etrurian tombs. The 'artistic' center of Perugia revolves around Piazza IV Novembre, where still stands part of the walls that once belonged to the Etruscan city and were accessed using the ancient gates such as the Porta della Mandorla, Porta Marzia and Porta Trasimeno. Other sights of religious importance are the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, Basilica of San Domenico and San Pietro church.

Umbria is a famous region of Central Italy crossed by the beautiful River Tiber. Well known for its old cathedral churches and beautiful villages. It is a less traveled region in Central Italy with many advantages over Tuscany. It is the smallest region in Italy and it doesn’t have a coastline or border with another country. It is an ideal country for those who want to experience Italian art, history, culture and cuisine.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
