REVIEW SCORE

Palazzo Rosadi Tuscany is a luxury villa rental with 6 bedrooms and a private pool. Palazzo Rosadi is a luxurious Tuscan villa at only 3 km from Monterchi, where Piero della Francesca painted one of his most famous frescoes “La Madonna del Parto” towards the end of the 15 hundreds. It is consequently an ideal setting for reaching small characteristic villages in Umbria, the splendid Tuscan art cities like Cortona and Arezzo.

The Palazzo dates back to 1785 and on the inside, one can breathe the antique atmosphere as though time has stopped. Then the Palazzo was enlarged and the bedrooms and lounge rooms were decorated by a famous local artist, Luigi Puletti, a precursor of Liberty style.

The Palazzo is 500 sq mt. In some areas, the tradition of visible beans has been maintained, while in others the frescoes have been restored. The major part of the bedrooms are frescoed, the furnishings are a mix of modern and antique pieces. Also in 3 of the bathrooms with marble shower and thermostatic mixer, you can find this mix between traditional and modern- All of the bedrooms have AC and ensuite bathrooms.

The villa, with a private swimming pool, is surrounded by 25 hectares of land with century-old oaks, cypresses, and pine trees through which a natural park has been created so that the guests can admire the flora and fauna typical of this angle of Tuscany. A one-hectare rose garden surrounds the villa and on one side there is the pergola with Pocatello and canola grapes used for the production of holy wine. The swimming pool (6 mt by 12 mt and 1.5 mt deep and which has a magnificent panoramic view) is located on a lower level with respect to the villa and is complete with umbrellas, gazebo with table, chairs, sunbeds in aluminum, and a shower.

The garden and the swimming pool are lit up at night, ideal for spending Summer evenings, perhaps tasting a good glass of local wine. Palazzo Rosadi represents the perfect union of tradition and modernity, where you will be spoiled by the attention of the owner, who will do everything possible to make your holiday unique. On request, you can enjoy the external Jacuzzi. The villa has wifi.

About the Location

Italy, Tuscany, Arezzo Area

Arezzo is located in southeastern Tuscany at the crossroads of four valleys: the Val Tiberina, Casentino, Valdarno, and Valdichiana. This place played an important role in the history of Tuscany and has many artifacts to display. The ancient origins of the city are verified by the stone tools and the so-called Man of the Elm who was discovered here, dating back to the Paleolithic era. The original foundation of the city was Etruscan dating back to the 9th century B.C.

Today Arezzo boasts a wide range of sites to see including fortresses, monuments, churches, and museums that will take its visitors back in time. The benchmark of the city is the Church of San Francesco with the incredible Early Renaissance fresco by Piero Della Francesca depicting the Legend of the True Cross. Have an espresso at the impressive Piazza Grande, where they also hold a jousting matching twice a year, and don’t miss the Medicean Fortress. Visit the Cathedral dedicated to San Donato, as well as the Church of San Domenico with the wooden Crucifix by Cimabue.

Arezzo may not be in the first line of options while thinking of traveling to Tuscany yet it is a hidden gem that will provide its guests with an authentic view of a typical city of the region which has managed to maintain its traditions, its architecture, and its charm. It is believed that the Ponte in Mona Lisa's painting depicts that of Arezzo. Conveniently located, Arezzo offers opportunities for exploration in nearby cities such as Cortona, Anghiari, and Poppi.

Tuscany is a place like nowhere else in the world; this is the reason why this region is at the tops bucket lists all over the globe. Amazing landscapes, beautiful hilltop towns and the fantastic capital city of Florence charm everyone who decides to visit it. It is a majestic region with almost half of the artistic heritage of Italy and fantastic landscapes. Due to its mild weather, you could visit Tuscany all year round. It’s a region with exceptional art towns and hilltop villages and with a heritage of a glorious past with unspoiled nature, spectacular sea coast, and beautiful islands. Here you will taste some of the best wine varieties and then you can relax to one of its thermal spas.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
