This exclusive residence, which is a jewel of liberty architecture perfectly nestled in the greenery, can accommodate up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms all with private bathroom and balcony. The view enjoyed from Villa del Poeta is unique. The charm of the beauty of the past in this extraordinary location has been brought back, with wisdom, to its full splendor. The villa is equipped with all comforts, it is part of the property of a large winery, and has always offered its guests not a simple holiday but a dream to be realized.

In the park, incorporated in a land of almost 2 hectares completely fenced, an enchanting swimming pool (12 meters x 7) with an infinity side, will make you feel immersed in the green nature of the Tuscan hills. At the poolside, comfortable sun loungers will make your day very pleasant. Also, outside there are large terraces where you can eat, enjoy a drink, stop for a moment and sit to have a chat with friends or share intimate moments as a couple or family.

The bedrooms in the sleeping area are very large with French beds, antique writing desks available, very high ceilings and original floor tiles from the early 20th century, unique furnishings and curtains. The sleeping area is accessed by a marble staircase full of charm. The villa develops on two levels and has a size of about 500 square meters. In the large living area, you will be welcomed in comfortable lounges with a fireplace, sofas with ottomans, comfortable armchairs and reading corners. The large kitchen (five-burner hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, coffee machine) is also equipped with everything necessary and can comfortably seat a dozen people at the table.

The Villa lights up with its light at sunset. At dusk, you will find yourself living your holiday in a unique harmony while realizing that you are in a land where, head, hands and heart have always worked together with wisdom and inspiration, feeding on the charm of what is a region who has a particular vocation in creating truly extraordinary things. At Villa del Poeta you will be not far from the great centers of art and culture as well as from world-famous museums.

About the Location

Arezzo is located in southeastern Tuscany at the crossroads of four valleys: the Val Tiberina, Casentino, Valdarno, and Valdichiana. This place played an important role in the history of Tuscany and has many artifacts to display. The ancient origins of the city are verified by the stone tools and the so-called Man of the Elm who was discovered here, dating back to the Paleolithic era. The original foundation of the city was Etruscan dating back to the 9th century B.C. 

Today Arezzo boasts a wide range of sites to see including fortresses, monuments, churches, and museums that will take its visitors back in time. The benchmark of the city is the Church of San Francesco with the incredible Early Renaissance fresco by Piero Della Francesca depicting the Legend of the True Cross. Have an espresso at the impressive Piazza Grande, where they also hold a jousting matching twice a year, and don’t miss the Medicean Fortress. Visit the Cathedral dedicated to San Donato, as well as the Church of San Domenico with the wooden Crucifix by Cimabue.

Arezzo may not be in the first line of options while thinking of traveling to Tuscany yet it is a hidden gem that will provide its guests with an authentic view of a typical city of the region which has managed to maintain its traditions, its architecture, and its charm. It is believed that the Ponte in Mona Lisa's painting depicts that of Arezzo. Conveniently located, Arezzo offers opportunities for exploration in nearby cities such as Cortona, Anghiari, and Poppi.
