The village dates back to the seventeenth century. and overlooks the beautiful valley of the Valtiberina Umbra and borders to the west with Tuscany. In the structure, guests will find a completely private panoramic pool, an organic vegetable garden from which to pick vegetables and even a small fishing pond to enjoy in pleasant moments.
The interiors are light and airy, with floors that range between artisan terracotta and parquet. The wooden ceilings give a rustic air and at the same time refined to all spaces. The 6 apartments can accommodate a total of 19 people, divided into 9 comfortable double rooms and 2 single rooms. Each room is characterized by typical rustic elements of local craftsmanship. In addition to the 10 bathrooms equipped with all modern comforts, guests also have a common room with double ovens and a stove capable of accommodating up to 25 people.
Perugia is a beautiful medieval city in Umbria, rich in history and art, and its surroundings include evident elements of the Etruscan and the Roman civilizations. The modern part of town is dominated by the presence of its prestigious university which creates a pleasant buzz. There are interesting attractions and a vibrant day scene as well as nightlife with great restaurants and nightspots that make it a very lively place. The historical center displays labyrinth alleys, beautiful arched stairways, and piazzas framed by magnificent palazzi. Its location is offered for daily excursions to places such as Assisi, Spello, and Gubbio. Perugia is just a couple of hours drive north of Rome.
Important sights in the city include the Etrurian Well that is not only a historical site, but is today still the main water source in the city. Besides the well, there are many Etrurian tombs. The 'artistic' center of Perugia revolves around Piazza IV Novembre, where still stands part of the walls that once belonged to the Etruscan city and were accessed using the ancient gates such as the Porta della Mandorla, Porta Marzia and Porta Trasimeno. Other sights of religious importance are the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, Basilica of San Domenico and San Pietro church.
