The village Skouloufia, is situated 18km from Rethymno and 75km from Heraklion as well as 8km from the nearest beach of Stavromenos. The surrounding area of Skouloufia village displays great archaeological interest with famous Elefterna being just 3km away, the gem Monastery of Arcadi (8km away), the cave in village Melidoni, plenty Byzantine churches scattered all around the district and of course the old town of Rethymno, the pottery village of Margarites and numerous others. The villa is in a fantastic location with fantastic sea views, well equipped and the owners are extremely welcoming. Ιt was a great holiday.
Good spacious accommodation with everything we needed. Super pool area with various pool settings. Super covered porch and delicious BBQ. Nice and welcoming host. We felt welcome from day 1. They surprised us with home-cooked food on Thursday night, what a wonderful experience. Our host wrote several times during the week to see if we were happy or if they could help with anything.
It was so spacious, has an incredible view, and is in a secluded area. We had everything we needed! The hosts were incredible. They came to meet us so late at night when we arrived. They also provided great recommendations and were always available by phone and text. I highly recommend them!
The residence is located on an extremely beautiful square in the mountains overlooking the sea (north coast). You can almost see the sea from the bedroom. The sunset on the terrace dinner is spectacular. The facilities are valuable and complete. The layout is good, there are 3 bedrooms with 6 double beds. The north coast is about 25 minutes drive and Rethymnon is about 40 minutes. The hosts are lovely and very willing to accommodate all concerns and needs. We arrived late at night on the day of our arrival and they offered to pick us up some goodies for breakfast. If we needed anything, they were readily available. We felt completely comfortable!
