By entering Zephi Villa Rethymno you come across the living room which has a traditional fireplace, constructed in 1946. It offers also a view to the pool and to the fully equipped kitchen with dining area and all the necessary home appliances such as microwave, oven, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, a big fridge/ freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, mixer, grill/sandwich maker and blender. There is a full set of cutlery, cooking utensils, and glassware. In the storage rooms, you will also find an iron, ironing board, first aid kit.
Moreover, on the same floor, there is a bedroom with two single beds and an en suite bathroom specially formed for restricted mobility people. There's an LCD HD TV set with satellite, DVD player, music system, and air conditioning in the entire house (use of a/c is included in the price). With Anti-Allergy Enzyme filter technology, the air is effectively deodorized and there is a significant reduction in allergen and bacteria levels. With inverter technology, our compact floor console series ensures perfect room temperatures are achieved with both upper and lower vanes distributing air and eliminating draughts while heating or cooling.
There is a wooden stair that leads you directly into the entryway. There is also a little living room and a fully equipped office with a personal computer and a printer/fax. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double bedroom and two single bed bedrooms each one with an en suite bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with LCD HD TVs and brand-new quality mattresses in order to provide maximum comfort. A safe box will keep your valuable things secure. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and provide Wi-Fi internet access. Baby cot and high chair are available upon request, free of charge. Next to the bedrooms, you will see a fabulous shaded terrace with outdoor furniture, viewed to Psiloritis Mountain shared by both bedrooms.
Eleftherna is an archaeological site located about 30km to the southeast of Rethymno, on the northern foothill of mountain Psiloritis where there have been extensive excavations and findings. Eleftherna is one of the most important archaeological sites of Crete. The settlement seems to have been inhabited since prehistoric times. Among the most important sites are the ruins of Orthi Petra, Pyrgi, and Katsivelos, found on the slopes of Psiloritis, between two torrents. The available potable water originating from these springs greatly contributed to the inhabitation of the area and the occupation of its residents with agriculture. Eleftherna boasts a necropolis dating from the Geometric Era and the Archaic Period and has some ruins of ancient walls, ancient sanctuaries, an aqueduct, huge cisterns, and paved Roman roads. It is a historical treasure of Crete.
