Wind Villa Rethymno can house up to 8 persons in 135 sqm. Marble stairs lead to a wide veranda. On the ground floor, there’s a totally equipped kitchen/dining room, a sunny double bedroom, and a shower/WC with a washing machine. The roomy living room includes a built-in stone fireplace, a huge L-shaped sofa, satellite TV, and stereo system.
A wooden staircase leads to the three double bedrooms, the bathroom, and the two verandas of the second floor. All bedrooms have air-condition (free of charge). The floors are tiled and the ceilings are covered in wood. The spacious, stylishly furnished, and fully equipped villa, along with the nice gardens, the big swimming pool (including children’s pool), and the great clean beaches nearby, guarantee a memorable vacation for 8. The colors of the surrounding nature and all these beaches so close to the villas compose an ideal place for relaxing times!
Plakias Village is located on the south coast about 30 km south of picturesque Rethimno town. Nearby you will find a big crescent bay and the gorges of Selia and Kourtaliiotiko. This is a popular touristic destination, yet the paradox is that it has a unique feel of a smaller, quieter place. Beautiful verdant surroundings and gorges frame the village of Plakias which is a paradise for nature lovers. The village is surrounded by mountains to the north and the Libyan Sea to the south. The name in Greek means "flat" but the approach and coastline are quite mountainous and dramatic. Frangokastello and Sfakia will be a pleasant exploration and a scenic short drive. Above Plakias, Myrthios offers gorgeous views of the bay, coastline, and sea. The gorges of Prevelli with its monastery, Kourtaliotis, and Kotsifos are easily accessed and worth your effort. Also visit the mountain village of Spili, Preveli Monastery and Preveli beach, and the wonderful villages in the hills on the road to Sfakia.

Very nice location with a view of the mountains and the sea (limited because some trees block the view a bit). Large swimming pool with many sunbeds and beautiful garden. The pool area has secluded corners, even with shade.

Great place to explore this south ridge so lovely. The green garden offers a wonderful view of the sea. The pool is very nice. A terrace makes the view even more exciting!
Awesome view of the mountains and the bay of Plakias. Great pool and the possibility to use the barbecue. Big and very convivial house with equipped kitchen and 3 terraces. The host was very pleasant and available to answer all our questions. Perfect for 2 couples with 2 kids.
