Thyme Villa Rethymno is a two-storied 120 m2 building that includes a sitting room, high slide JS 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom/WC, 1 shower/WC, and 3 verandas. It can accommodate 6-7 persons. On the west side, a few meters from the main entrance, there is a private swimming pool. On the east side of the garden, there is a barbecue, elegantly built in stone, and a parking space.
The entrance of the rental is reached via a beautiful terrace on a raised ground floor, leading to the sitting room where there’s a fireplace, satellite TV, and stereo system. An arched door leads to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Just off the kitchen, there is a small veranda with a mountain view. On the right side of the main entrance, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a shower/WC. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two bedrooms with two single beds each, a bathroom/WC, and a large veranda with a spectacular view.
Plakias Village is located on the south coast about 30 km south of picturesque Rethimno town. Nearby you will find a big crescent bay and the gorges of Selia and Kourtaliiotiko. This is a popular touristic destination, yet the paradox is that it has a unique feel of a smaller, quieter place. Beautiful verdant surroundings and gorges frame the village of Plakias which is a paradise for nature lovers. The village is surrounded by mountains to the north and the Libyan Sea to the south. The name in Greek means "flat" but the approach and coastline are quite mountainous and dramatic. Frangokastello and Sfakia will be a pleasant exploration and a scenic short drive. Above Plakias, Myrthios offers gorgeous views of the bay, coastline, and sea. The gorges of Prevelli with its monastery, Kourtaliotis, and Kotsifos are easily accessed and worth your effort. Also visit the mountain village of Spili, Preveli Monastery and Preveli beach, and the wonderful villages in the hills on the road to Sfakia.

Very calm, in the middle of the countryside. Awesome view on the mountains and the bay of Plakias. Great pool and possibility to use the barbecue. Big and very convivial house with equiped kitchen and 3 terraces. The host was very pleasant and available to answer all our questions. Perfect for 2 couples with 2 kids.
The villa is well-equipped inside and out. Lovely areas to sit outside making the most of sun or shade and with amazing views. Lush gardens and clean pools. Plenty of seating for sunbathing, reading, and dining. Two-minute drive to the village of Lefkogia with a good local taverna. and lovely beaches within 2 or 3 km
