Atsipopoulo is a nice suburb of Rethymno city, only 5km from its center. This picturesque village offers a unique retro atmosphere that dates back to the Venetian times with its majestic architecture. Visitors are enchanted by the numerous churches of Atsipopoulo, the arched paths, and stone houses, some of which have been turned into villas. Houses in Atsipopoulo were constructed in proximity in order to form a fortification wall to protect its inhabitants from pirates and other enemies. Atsipopoulo has maintained its authentic traditional character and is not overly developed, yet due to its proximity to Rethymno, visitors can enjoy services and amenities and access nice beaches with crystalline waters. The closest beach to Atsipopoulo is at a distance of 4 km.

Villa is, as the photos promise, very spacious, tidy, and well-equipped! The cleanliness was also very good and the cleaning staff regularly changed the towels and cleaned them. Plus the housekeepers were super friendly! The pool area was lovely and well-maintained! Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend Villa!
