On the ground floor, you will find the living room area with an indoor dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and one bathroom with a shower! The kitchen area has an exit to the barbecue area and the garden. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. Two bedrooms are double bedded with access to the veranda and the other hosts a bunk bed (2 joined single beds). All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The house keeps also its own cool temperature because of the stone-made walls. Outdoors close to the flower gardens and trees a private swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas can be found. Also, you will find a fully equipped barbecue area, many seating areas with views, and a lot of space for children to play.
Prines is a village located 6 km from Rethymno city, ideal for relaxation in the calmness of nature. Prines has maintained its traditional character with the detached houses and big yards, arches, domes, and stone staircases. The area of Prines offers a unique lash verdant environment with fruit and citrus plants, walnut trees, tall planes, as well as splendid oaks and olive trees rooted in the rocks. Prines includes an impressive oak forest. Locals and tourists gather in the two paved squares in a traditional picturesque ambiance and also to a third one in “Kato Vrisi”, surrounded by greenery. Last but not least is the oasis of Vederi with the churchyard of Saint John found within the oak forest which is a real gem of the region.

Very clean, good location, very big garden and big pool.
The gardens and pool area were very relaxing, there was an excellent, well equipped barbecue area and the large veranda leading off the bedrooms was another lovely area to sit with a morning cup of tea or a glass of wine to watch the sunset. Although very rural the local village with 3 tavernas, small supermarket and chemist was only an 8 minute walk away. The owner was very kind and looked after us well, providing a welcome pack of goodies, she was very helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable. The bedrooms were also very good, the beds were very comfortable with plenty of cupboard space. The cleanliness of the villa was of a high standard with cleaning and change of linen and towels every couple of days. If you are wanting a quiet location with excellent facilities this is the place for you, I would definitely recommend it for a very relaxing, unforgettable holiday.
