On the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en-suite. On the ground floor there is a sitting room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Makris Gyalos is a famous seaside resort in Lasithi Prefecture 38km south of Sitia and 25km southeast of Ierapetra. Towards the east there is a unique view of the bay of Makry Gialos, revealing all the beauty of the village with its little harbor and large beach. The name Makry Gialos (Long Beach) reveals its main advantage, as it is actually a large bay with a beautiful sandy beach over a kilometer long. Makris Gyalos gained in popularity thanks to a combination of factors; the beauty of its beaches with clear shallow waters, the great food in the nearby taverns, and its busy nightlife considering its size, and at the same time it's very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The best thing about the area is that it caters to the needs of families as well as those of young people, who are looking for fun, watersports, and other activities.

When we arrived everything was spotless and it looked great. The owners were very friendly and immediately gave us tips about the surrounding area. The villa is located in a quiet village with nice restaurants and you are very close to a beautiful beach. (You can reach this by taking the steps down to the white apartments at the end of the street) (we found out a little too late, unfortunately). We have not been bothered by the surrounding houses at all. Cleaning is done twice a week and you will receive new towels, beach towels and the beds will be changed. The pool is cleaned every morning. There is air conditioning in all rooms and there are mosquito nets on the windows. There is also a nice BBQ.
