The complex is only a few minutes' walk away from a quiet pebble beach with bars and restaurants and also close to all amenities in the village.
A large sandy beach is found only 2 km away in the resort of Makrigialos. The villas are nestled within a beautiful garden, full of local fruit trees and flowers, and Cretan herbs. The whole complex has been designed with comfort and eco-friendly holiday living in mind. Villa Mimosa is a recently renovated 192m2 maisonette with sea views, inspired by green wilderness and earth colors. Located in a private, fenced, wooded, secluded lot, with mature tall arokaria and mimosa trees, patios, and barbecue facilities. It has 5 private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as an additional loft bedroom and 2 living rooms. There is a large ground floor patio, plus 3 large balconies with hammocks on the first floor. Three of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, while the loft bedroom has 2 single beds. All baths have showers and one also has a jetted tub. One of the two living rooms has a corner sofa, while the other has a sofa bed for an additional person if necessary.
Koutsouras is a seaside village in the Lasithi region, located 58km from Agios Nikolaos and 22km from Ierapetra. The inhabitants are primarily employed with agriculture and secondarily with tourism. The forest of Apigania included in the area often hosts cultural events such as concerts and is the starting point of a small gorge that leads to a picturesque chapel after half an hour of hiking. The beach of Koutsouras is paved with dark grey pebbles that contrast with the turquoise waters and have been awarded by the EU with a blue flag for its cleanliness.
Located on the eastern side of Crete, Lasithi is the least tourist region of Crete island. Although it includes some popular places such as Elounda, a VIPs and jet-setters resort, Sissi, Sitia and Ierapetra, the rest of the region has maintained its authentic traditional character, away from mass tourism. Various small towns, busy coastal resorts and picturesque mountainous villages can be found around the prefecture of Lasithi.
