Mochlos is a fishing village located 35 km east of Agios Nikolaos town, towards Sitia. The fishing village, which is almost intact by tourism and has a very welcoming authentic character, is ideal for peaceful holidays and a nice opportunity to come closer to nature in an ambiance that will enchant its visitors. This region is also of archeological and historical interest due to the Minoan tombs and remains from the ancient settlement that can be seen in the broader area. Mochlos was first inhabited during the antiquity, while archaeologists have found that its port was quite important in the Minoan period and served commercial vessels.
Located on the eastern side of Crete, Lasithi is the least tourist region of Crete island. Although it includes some popular places such as Elounda, a VIPs and jet-setters resort, Sissi, Sitia and Ierapetra, the rest of the region has maintained its authentic traditional character, away from mass tourism. Comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, big pool, and amazing sea view. We had a great time in Mohlos! Spent 4 nights at the place and everybody had fun: kids and parents. The kids enjoyed themselves in the pool while adults sat on the balcony sipping Ouzo and gazing at the sea views :)
Amazing villa with a great pool and a fantastic view from the terrace which you will never tire of. The villa is in an excellent location on the edge of the village, but still in easy walking distance of the harbour, restaurants and shops. Yannis and Katerina were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and helpfully offering advice on places to eat and visit.
The house is very beautiful, the panorama from the breathtaking terrace, the awesome pool and the ideal location a few minutes walk from this adorable fishing port. Yannis is a very attentive and responsive host, a huge thank you to him! We can only highly recommend this wonderful place.

We had enough space for six person's. The view is fantastic! The host family are very friendly. When you love dogs get friends with the dog of the host family he will visit you everyday
