REVIEW SCORE

An ancient noble residence of the 19th century, Villa Armonia Tuscany is one with the land that welcomes it. It retains the charm of a historic residence, with its long driveway, the imposing facade, the large interior spaces, its verdant park but, together, it offers a warm and genuine welcome, which only certain locations can give to their guests.

In it, you will find the embrace of Tuscany, a truly unique land. Enjoy a view along the valley of the ancient spa town of Montecatini and you will find yourself in an absolutely convenient position to visit the cities of Lucca, Florence, Siena, and Pisa and to get lost, even with children, among many references such as example, the park of Pinocchio. The villa, with its 350 square meters, can accommodate up to 12 people in 5 comfortable double rooms with bathrooms on two floors. The entrance of the structure opens onto a comfortable living room with a fireplace. To complete the ground floor there is also a very comfortable utility room with a washing machine and dryer.

On the first floor, you will have the availability of a kitchen with a dining table for 8 people equipped with everything and the possibility of having meals outside on a patio connected by a French door. Then a living room with a second dining table for up to 8 guests, a fireplace and a relaxation area with armchairs as well as a bathroom and a double bedroom.

On the second floor, there is, however, the sleeping area with 4 other bedrooms all served by showers and air conditioning. The interior of the house is full of history and harks back to its noble origins. Many 19th century pieces of furniture decorate halls and bedrooms together with paintings and rugs with a unique charm.

Outside Villa Armonia Tuscany also reserves you a small chapel where you can also host civil rites and opens up to the extraordinary beauty of the landscape giving you the opportunity to dedicate yourself to long walks in nature but also a dip in the comfortable swimming pool which measures 15 meters in length and 5 wide for a depth from one meter to one meter and 40, therefore also suitable for children. Everything is enriched by a sundeck with an extraordinary panoramic view where you will find several deckchairs and umbrellas.

Also outside, in the large 10-hectare park, there is a comfortable outdoor lounge with sofas and armchairs, a stone's throw from the entrance of the house, and also a barbecue area that offers the possibility to have lunch and dinner on a table in the lawn that can accommodate up to 10 people. The property also offers the possibility to park several cars.

About the Location

Italy, Tuscany, Pistoia Area

The province of Pistoia is located in northern Tuscany and is a quite large area whose morphology includes both flat valleys as well as hilly and mountainous sections, including the Valley of the Ombrone River, the Valdinievole and the Pistoia Mountains where ski lovers exercise their favorite sport. The city of Pistoia is located halfway between Florence and Lucca, about 40 km away from each.

Pistoia is inherent to the production of chocolate, located in the so-called "Tuscan chocolate valley", an area extending between Pisa, Pistoia, and Prato in which some of the most renowned Italian artisan chocolate makers are established, their fame spreading to the whole Italy and beyond.

The area of Pistoia and Pescia is also very well known for the cultivation of plants and flowers exported all over the world, which is still a very alive engagement of the inhabitants. The small town of Quarrata, approximately 30 kilometers from Florence, is renowned for the production of premium quality wood furniture.

The area of Pistoia attracts a lot of tourists due to its famous thermal baths which are another important resource for the province. The thermal baths of Montecatini and Monsummano include waters with beneficial health effects, ideal for a healing experience along with spa therapies. In the past, these thermal baths hosted nobility and royalty, as well as more recent movie stars.

Pistoia Mountains are ideal for sports and hiking lovers, both in the summer and in the winter, when the ski slopes and lifts are open. The ski resorts of Abetone and Val di Luce are among the most popular.

Children will love the Zoo of Pistoia, located about 10 km outside of the city, and the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, with its adjacent to stunning Garzoni Garden.

Since Tuscany is famous for its gardens, here you will find one more much-visited gem, The Fattoria di Celle, a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden with contemporary works of art.
