REVIEW SCORE

Majestic frescoed rooms combine with modern conveniences immersed in a vast parkland with a pool and a private pond with graceful swans. Our guests will profit from 2 huge alfresco dining areas and jasmine covered gazebo. Originally built in 1624 this magnificent Villa was the summer residence of Count Cosimo Bernardini, whose family has played a key role in the administration of the Republic of Lucca for centuries. Wonderful antiques, majestic frescoed rooms combine with modern conveniences to create an exclusive and elegant atmosphere.

The villa is nestled in the midst of tranquil Italian gardens through which flows a freshwater brook into two small lakes overlooked by a shady weeping willow. The Grand cypress trees and fragrant lemon and herb gardens create the perfect backdrop to the private swimming pool. Discover the magical beauty of Villa Lenka and enjoy inspired moments of harmony, relaxation and refinement. The Villa has a beautiful private pool (20x10m, 1,5m to 3m depth) and a relaxing area. Our guests will profit from two impressive alfresco dining areas: one in front of the Villa, its majestic facade and lovely private lake; another in the Italian garden in the backyard overlooking the surrounding area. The jasmine gazebo with a table and some chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing aperitif.

Enjoy the fancy indoor facilities: majestic living rooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, various leisure rooms with piano & foosball, a majestic hot tub. The Villa offers 7 elegant bedrooms with a bathroom ensuite. The reservation includes a personal chef, maid service, air conditioning and wifi.

About the Location

Italy, Tuscany, Lucca Area

The Lucca Area in Tuscany, Italy will enchant its visitors with its stunning landscape that has been shaped by the mighty Serchio River and is dotted with quaint medieval towns. The heart of this picturesque territory beats in the city of Lucca, famous for its perfectly-preserved defense walls and for its “100 churches”. Since the walls lost their military importance, their top part became a pedestrian promenade and is today one of Lucca's main attractions.

Lucca is very easy to reach both by car as well as train from Pisa or Florence. Stroll around the city to feel the scent of the authenticity of a place that has been favorably forgotten by time. Adorned with plenty of architectural gems, like the churches of San Frediano and San Michele, or the Cathedral of San Martino, it will leave no one indifferent. Amongst the attractions worth seeing, there are Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, built on top of the ruins of a Roman amphitheater, and the Guinigi Tower, at the top of which you will find a shady oasis of oak trees.

For those who love exploring primed gardens, there’s another must-see destination in this area: the stunning Lucchesia villas. Embraced by hills, these countryside “palaces” were built by wealthy merchants in the 15th century to be lavish residences boasting luxuriant gardens, embellished by parks with great attention to detail. These villas and their gardens are spectacular for those who love the camellia flowers, a feature that has made these places beauty unique, including Villa Olivia, Villa Grabau, Villa Reale, Villa Torrigiani and Villa Mansi.

Wine lovers will enjoy exploring the small village of Montecarlo, nestled in the hills and famous for the excellent wine produced by the many companies in the surrounding countryside.

Tuscany is a place like nowhere else in the world; this is the reason why this region is at the tops bucket lists all over the globe. Amazing landscapes, beautiful hilltop towns and the fantastic capital city of Florence charm everyone who decides to visit it. It is a majestic region with almost half of the artistic heritage of Italy and fantastic landscapes. Due to its mild weather, you could visit Tuscany all year round. It’s a region with exceptional art towns and hilltop villages and with a heritage of a glorious past with unspoiled nature, spectacular sea coast, and beautiful islands. Here you will taste some of the best wine varieties and then you can relax to one of its thermal spas.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
