The estate is set upon a ridge over the Ionian Sea overlooking Marathonisi Island with a magnificent unobstructed view of the azure blue sea, approx. 200 meters from the nearest beach.
Serenus Villa Zante is built upon a hillside and is situated in a natural forest of pine and fir, on a plot of approx. 10,000 square meters, providing an environment of peace, tranquility, and privacy. Serenus Villa Zante, a two-story air-conditioned building with an elevator, has wooden floors throughout and can accommodate eight to ten persons.
The ground level consists of a spacious living room with a stone fireplace, a large dining area, a ‘captain’s corner’ sitting area, a luminous large kitchen with granite floor, a storeroom, guests’ WC, and a single guestroom with shower and WC. In front of the whole of the ground floor facing the sea, is a large covered terrace with a splendid view of the sea.
The upper floor consists of three guest rooms and one large office with a stone fireplace. Upon request can be converted to a bedroom/office. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi, ladies boudoir, private playroom (multi-gym, bike, and pink pong table and dartboard). The two other double bedrooms share one bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi. Both bathrooms have mosaic tiling throughout.
All three bedrooms open out onto large verandas with all of which have fantastic views of Laganas Bay, Marathonisi Island (a protected marine park for the habitation of the protected Caretta-Caretta sea turtle). One can see as far as the Peloponnese.
Marathia is a secluded beach located 26km southwest of Zakynthos Town, on the southern coast of the island, close to Keri. This stunning pebbled beach with exotic lush green surroundings and emerald waters combines the most beautiful colors of nature in its palette to offer a sense of relaxation. Marathia beach is a pristine, sheltered place with no tourist facilities. This beach offers a spectacular rocky landscape that captivates its visitors. The hills embracing Marathia are covered with lush greenery and vast plantation. The tall pine trees provide excellent shade shelter during the sunny summer days. The crystal and calm waters offer an exotic atmosphere. Due to the long distance from the town, its advantage is that it never gets really crowded.
Zakynthos, or Zante, is among the most beautiful and popular islands of the Ionian Sea. Located south of Kefalonia, Zakynthos has the most intense nightlife of all Ionian Islands, which makes it a popular destination with younger crowds. The superb beaches of Zakynthos (Zante) Greece, part of the Ionian Islands, are famous for their virgin beauty and the emerald waters.
