Entering the villa you'll find the main living area consisting of a cozy living room with a charming fireplace, a pool table, a comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a big flat-screen TV. From here, large windows open onto the beautiful outdoor covered terrace equipped with a large outdoor dining area inviting you to enjoy your meals in the refreshing mountain breeze. The dining area features a wooden dining table for 6 people and is filled with natural light thanks to a big window by the table. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped.
On this floor, there is a spacious bedroom with a baby cot and two bathrooms with a shower. From the dining area, a staircase leads up to the second level, where you'll find three double bedrooms, individually styled and decorated, equipped with queen-size beds (one of them has also a single bed for a child) and all featuring their own private balcony with wonderful views. On this level, you'll also find a second spacious bathroom with a romantic bathtub. The fully equipped gym of Piedra Villa is ready for rejuvenating training, take big breaths smell the clear Kefalonian air, with scents of olive trees, pines, and eucalyptus. You are on holiday but sometimes that is just the time to kick off a new fitness program or you may just want to carry on your regular routine. Featuring a spacious 60m2 room, two en-suite bathrooms where you will find all the necessary, the top-quality fitness equipment, and the decor that will boost your athletic spirit!
Troianata is a village 6km southeast of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, built at an altitude of 311m. The settlements Demoutsanata and Mitakata are essentially part of the greater village. Troianata is built amphitheatrically and is embraced by tall trees and cypresses, adding to its beauty. The red-tiled roofs and white houses pop up like candies among nature creating majestic scenery. Troianata is renowned for its traditional “Festival of Moustalevria” which takes place every year in August. Locals and visitors from all over Kefalonia gather in the courtyard of the central church to celebrate the grape and wine, which is the main product of the region. Children from Troianata tread the grapes and make must that will be transformed into delicious moustalevria (must pies) to treat people. The festival includes traditional music and dancing of "ballo" and lasts till dawn.
Kefalonia is the largest island of the Ionian group, located between Lefkada and Zante. Due to the size of the island Kefalonia never gets too crowded or too noisy, not even in high season and this makes it ideal for family holidays. Famous for the exotic aquamarine color beaches, including Myrtos, Antisamos, Lourdas and Skala, the island has gained popularity as the filming scenery of the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
