The villa features 3 double bedrooms ensuite, an open plan fitted kitchen and living room with dining area, window doors that lead to the landscaped gardens, the pool area, and the covered alfresco dining area with a stone-built BBQ. You will enjoy the tranquility of the area and the natural, untouched setting. Bellow the villas the Cape offers a unique setting to relax and will be the ideal place for those who love diving.
The little village of Spartia is 2,5km or a thirty-minute walk away where there are a few shops, tavernas, and a beautiful sandy beach a short distance from the village. The south coast resorts of Lourdas and Trapezaki are nearby and worth visiting whilst Argostoli, the island's capital, is approximately 10 minutes drive away. Half a mile from the villas is Liakas Village Apartments, a small group of holiday houses with a pool, bar, and tennis court which our villa guests are welcome to use (extra cost may apply for the use of pool bar service)
Spartia is a small village located in Livathos, in southern Kefalonia and displays a great maritime tradition. Beautiful houses, landscaped courtyards and streets look like maze compose the village. Spartia is believed to have existed for over 1000 years. In the past, the architecture of Spartia was precautionary for fear of pirates and the houses were small, with high walls and narrow windows. The labyrinthine alleys add to this purpose and are from the few relics of the past since everything else was destroyed by the 1953 earthquake. There are very few pre-earthquake buildings, as the 15th-century bell tower of St. George. The beach of the village is Klimatsias and is very close to Spartia. It is small and not organized but has crystalline waters and a stunning natural environment.
Kefalonia is the largest island of the Ionian group, located between Lefkada and Zante. Due to the size of the island Kefalonia never gets too crowded or too noisy, not even in high season and this makes it ideal for family holidays. Famous for the exotic aquamarine color beaches, including Myrtos, Antisamos, Lourdas and Skala, the island has gained popularity as the filming scenery of the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
The Ionian Islands are located on the western side of Greece and are historically and culturally strongly connected to Italy with many evident elements of this. The architecture of the capital towns, including Corfu Town, Zakynthos Town and Argostoli, resembles a lot to the Venetian style as these islands were occupied by the Venetians in the medieval times.
