Your home at Kefalonia Houses Svoronata is located in an area full of trees, just a few minute's drive from dreamy beaches and the islands’ capital, Argostoli. The indoor and outdoor spaces of Kefalonia houses are designed to offer the visitors flexibility and comfort through their modern and elegant style. Simple luxury characterizes every villa and promises a relaxing and rejuvenating journey to Kefalonia.
Kefalonia Houses Svoronata has a ground floor, first floor, and private parking. The balconies have a majestic view of the sea, while on the ground floor the visitors can relax in the indoor sitting area or prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The furniture has a cozy and contemporary style indoors and outdoors. Every house can accommodate up to 6 persons and has the following amenities: The ground floor has a sitting area with a satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower. Up, on the first floor, there are two master bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and two bathrooms. All indoor spaces have air condition and Kefalonia Houses are also ideal for the winter since it has central heating and a fireplace.
Every one of our seven independent houses of Kefalonia Houses is surrounded by a lovely garden of 1000 sq. m. with trees, a lawn, a private pool, sunbeds, and a sitting area. The pool and the garden can be used exclusively by the residents of the house, making Kefalonia Houses the perfect destination for relaxation by the pool, or unlimited playful moments for our little friends. Always with flawless service and privacy as our first priority.
Svoronata is a small village on the southern side of Kefalonia located 9km from Argostoli, the capital of the island. Svoronata is also the closest village to the airport of the island but also close to lovely beaches, including Ai-Helis, Avithos, Ammes, Platis Gialos and Makris Gialos, which display soft sand and crystalline waters. The village is very picturesque with traditional architecture found within a verdant embrace. It offers developed touristic infrastructure, being one of the largest villages in southern Kefalonia within the region of Livatho. Svoronata stood relatively lucky in the earthquake of 1953 and was not completely destroyed as most of the island. Famous were the blacksmiths of the village, making wrought iron gates, namely portonia, which are true masterpieces. An excellent piece of architecture is the church of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of the village and the seamen.
Kefalonia is the largest island of the Ionian group, located between Lefkada and Zante. Due to the size of the island Kefalonia never gets too crowded or too noisy, not even in high season and this makes it ideal for family holidays. Famous for the exotic aquamarine color beaches, including Myrtos, Antisamos, Lourdas and Skala, the island has gained popularity as the filming scenery of the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
