Indoor: On the ground floor there is an open-plan fully-equipped kitchen with a dining table and a living room with a fireplace and a satellite TV. There is also one bedroom with a semi-double bed (1,20m x 2,00m) and a wc. Wireless internet, dishwasher and a washing machine with clothes dryer are also provided. On the upper floor, you will find the master bedroom with a double bed as also another bedroom with two single beds, a common shower bathroom, and a balcony that offers you a marvelous sea view. Outdoor: All guests can enjoy the private swimming pool (about 40 sq m long) with the children's corner and relax at the sunbeds and parasols that are provided. On the outdoor dining area, you can also find a stone-built barbecue.

We had an excellent stay at the villa!

The villa has a wonderful swimming pool and is quite pleasant, contemporary, and well-equipped. The villa is located in a very quiet area, close to Georgioupoli, where you can find some good restaurants. Throughout our stay, the host extended a warm welcome and was available to us with any questions. We were fortunate to find this villa, and we are happy with our decision!

We would book the villa again in a heartbeat and can definitely recommend it!!

Everything ran smoothly. The size and temperature of the pool were wonderful. The home was well-designed and clean. The host was always approachable and dealt with our issues right away. a superb host. The villa's solitude and tranquillity made for the ideal vacation. In Exopoli, a tiny rustic tavern with fantastic Greek cuisine and welcoming Greek hospitality is about ten minutes walk away.

The two weeks we spent in the villa were wonderful. A short distance from Georgiopouli and situated on the hills, with stunning views! The villa is well-furnished with all the essentials. The additional shower room was a pleasant surprise, and the air conditioner was excellent. The pool area is excellent and has a BBQ and a great covered dining area. Georgiopouli is a charming little family resort with many excellent tavernas serving delectable food at reasonable prices. I heartily suggest Georgiopouli and this villa.

PERFECTION IN EVERY WAY

We arrived at Eva Villa exactly at 3:00PM on check-in day and Eva (and Manolis) were there to welcome us! The location is completely resplendent with mountain views to the west and an expansive view over Georgioupolis at the foot of the mountain on which the villa sits. After a cursory tour, Eva departed and we walked around the villa to familiarize ourselves with everything in our own way. The villa seems like home — homey touches, amazing doors and windows, modern kitchen with just about every appliance one could need including dishwasher, espresso machine, pots & pans, etc. Dining room has a very large table perfect for a workstation for two (or more). The living room has two comfortable sofas; widescreen TV features many stations, including CNN (our go-to news station). There is a toilet and sink downstairs under the stairs, very convenient, and a downstairs and upstairs guest room across from the master bedroom. The upstairs guest bedroom also had a very nice patio, an unexpected amenity, offering amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The master bedroom was large and had a large closet, safe, and drawers for storage. The queen bed was quite comfortable bed and a step-out balcony overlooked the pool, surrounding landscape and Georgioupolis below; the balcony had a love seat, two chairs and small table; this was an unexpected feature ideal for stargazing, a nightcap or reading. The upstairs bathroom had a very nice shower and toilet, large mirror and window. The doors and windows throughout were just incredible, perfect for ventilation, entry and, fully open, provided access and excellent ventilation. Linens, towels, soap and other amenities were thoughtful and plentiful. One thing we have not encountered before — there was actually a garbage pail and recycling pail outside discreetly located on a side patio. Bravo! The property had a step-up walkway surrounding the first floor and, from the combination living/dining room, there were an entry door and ventilation windows and, in the dining room, a second set of windows overlooking the pool area. Outside, the huge pool was absolutely wonderful — crystal clear, beautifully maintained with six lounges, side tables, and a hanging "egg" chair which was quite comfortable and great for a snooze. The pool surround was completely tiled and was a terrific amenity, the tile was never hot and moving lounges around was easily accomplished. There were also potted plants, a huge stylish umbrella and the entire villa was completely surrounded by a stone wall with a locking door and the nighttime ground and wall-top lighting was incredible. Behind the immediate pool area was a covered patio, complete with outdoor seating and table as well as an outdoor sink, wood grill and an ample laundry room with a drying rack and clothespins. One of our favorite features was the oversized shower located in a large enclosed space just off the patio outside the living room. It was huge, had a light, mirror, shelf, towel and clothes hooks and a contemporary overhead shower (something we Americans miss!). It was such a treat showering there, plenty of room and very indulgent. In the immediate surrounding area there was much to explore: there is a former olive press adjacent to the property which is fascinating. Other rustic homes nearby are wonderful to photograph and the dirt roads offer many photo ops. Vistas from the property and its grounds are just stunning — the villa is extremely remote, one of two or three houses on a winding road from the main road up from town. Many mornings were spent taking pictures of sunrises, mist on the mountains and vistas across the valley which were just breathtaking. Behind the villa were a ravine and a large mountain, a favorite romping place for goats which lived nearby and were often found on the road outside the villa, or sat just out in back of the villa and its grounds while they explored. We could hear the bells around their necks and always enjoyed seeing and hearing them. Overall, this villa was so idyllic, we are already thinking we will return here next year. Everything about it made us feel so incredibly at home, so comfortable, so very safe that we can only recommend this as one of the top villas we have ever stayed at in a dozen years visiting Greece. Eva has thought of just about everything possible to make her guests comfortable and she followed up to ensure that we did not need anything. A perfect stay at a perfect property with a perfect host, what more can anyone ask?

Perfekte Basis für tollen Urlaub auf Westkreta

Die Bilder der Villa auf dieser Website spiegeln sehr gut und genau das schöne Gebäude samt Pool wider! Die ein wenig versteckte Lage verspricht Ruhe und Ungestörtheit. Dennoch erreicht man von dort aus bequem per (Miet-) Auto Alles, was einen schönen Urlaub auf Kreta ausmacht: Langer Strand gar nicht weit, anspruchsvolle Wanderziele, die beiden größeren Städte in der Nähe (Chania und Rethymno), die interessanten Orte und Strände an der Südküste und natürlich auch die Restaurants und Geschäfte - nicht nur - im nahegelegenen, sehr lebhaften Ort Georgioupolis. Die die Villa selbst ist sehr schön eingerichtet: klare Linien, praktisch, hell, kurzum eine sehr freundliche Atmosphäre. Der Haushalt ist weit über die täglichen Bedürfnisse hinaus komplett ausgestattet. Die Besitzerin der Villa hilft umgehend, fürsorglich und sehr freundlich bei eventuell auftretenden Fragen.

Great Location

Great location, beautiful and peaceful. Away from the crowd, but still close by everything that matters on a vacation; village of Georgioupoli, restaurants, shops, lots of beautiful beaches. A car is required, but still there is so much to visit. Not to far from Rethymnon. The house is great, well kept and fully equipped. A big terrance with barbecue and swimming pool. We loved it and will surely return. We have a new favorite place! Thank you!

We had a wonderful vacations in Eva Villa

Crete was a surprise for us, with such beautiful places to visit, lovely beaches, very nice villages, the people is very friendly and the food is wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay in Eva Villa, the house is very agreeable and comfortable, and the owners were also very nice for us. With a car we were in a good spot, close to all the nice sites that we visited. Best regards

Perfect place for recreation

After so many years travelling to Crete this was our best stay ever. Full equipped modern building with really private pool in a peaceful und quiet area. You should have a car to explore the beautiful island and reach the village of Georgioupolis with markets and restaurants. This villa was made with heart and you can feel that. We will be back soon.

Very special location

Absolutely quiet place, nice private pool with a lot of places to sit around. The villa is clean and fully equipped. Within 5 minutes by car you can reach the village with all facilities you need. The owner created a very special place with heart and love. Our best choice ever.

We were greatly satisfied and so happy with Eva Villa

It truly was extremely comfortable, well located, modern and clean and, above all we cannot say enough about the warm hospitality that went way beyond just being good hosts. Eva and her father were truly exceptional making sure everything was up to par and even had the outdoor toy area set-up for our kids. The location I also think was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. Eva’s father brought us fresh eggs, olive oil, wine and his wonderful smile almost on a daily basis and we were always so happy to see him. We were also very pleased when she mentioned that someone would come and clean mid-week, this was very welcomed indeed. The few things that could be improved would be to include dish towels for the kitchen and more hand towels for the bathrooms. Overall it was a huge success and we wish them a lot of success with their place, it is very comfortable and we will highly recommend.

Perfect holidays
