Tsikalaria is a beautiful village built in the foothill of Malaxa mountain in a stunning verdant area. It is located northeast of the city of Chania, just 2.5km from the port of Souda and 6km from the city. It is easily accessible by the main road of Souda. In Tsikalaria there is the tradition of producing floral water from melangolo blossoms, a tradition that the refugees from Asia Minor brought to Crete. Floral water is used during the Easter holidays for the procession of Jesus but also for the making of traditional sweets during these days. Worth visiting is the Byzantine church of Madonna.

We loved this villa. The view of Chania is impressive. The villa is well equipped, we lacked nothing. Thank you for the warm welcome and for the smooth delivery of the keys.
Perfect for party of 8, house is beautifully designed as if from a magazine. High above the city, so every day is a great view. Very hill side so road to it is a bit hard to get to, but not bad once get used to it. Pool access, safe with gates, glass walls. Defines elegant living. Hosts are friendly and provides nearly everything. Full kitchen, washer. Friendly goats near area feeding. Was the first place to live at, in our trips in Greece. All other places stayed at never lived up to the excellence of the Villa. Worth a booking.

It was a beautiful villa in a spectacular location. And the owners were wonderful. Could not have been more friendly and hospitable.
The hosts allowed an early check in for my sister who had travelled from the USA. They understood the journey was long and accommodated with an early check in. They had a delicious Greek meal prepared for our family on our arrival. The house was in immaculate condition. The views were 360 degrees of breathtaking scenery. The pictures are accurate but the feeling in person being there was much more exciting. The house is situated in a perfect location. 15 minute drive to Old Town and 20 minutes to the sandy beach. I strongly recommend this Villa as a rental and will definitely return in the future. Thank you for allowing us to share your property and make lasting good memories with my family.
Although our stay was brief, we enjoyed our time there. The host welcomed us with cheese pies, water, and a welcome kit. The location is reasonably close to the beach and Chania.
Wonderful, completely wonderful!! We spend a week in this amazing house with our family and we completely loved it. The owners were so nice and did everything to give us a pleasent stay. When we arrived the owner was waiting for us at the house and welcoming us with some delicious creeke homemade food. Everything was completely new and clean. The cleaning was arranged when we were on a daytrip and when we came back homemade lemonjuice and cake waited for us. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (age 10-16) and the villa was perfect for us. The best thing was that we could get our own peace in this paradise and still Chania was just a 10 minutes drive away when we wanted some more activities or shopping. The view was fantastic and everything is nearby. We can still recommend to hire a car. Evertyhing we needed was nearby but still it was great to have a car when we wanted to make daytrips. We can really recommend this house and we will certainly come back to this villa when we travel to Crete next time.

The House and the Pool are a straight 10/10 and the View is just spectacular. We were 6 Friends celebrating my Birthday and got greeted with fresh pastry, Raki, and some Bottles of water. This House offers more than you would expect and everything you need, to have some wonderful days and nights in Chania. You get 3 different towels per Person, shampoo, and even slippers. Everything is so nicely prepared and the Hosts are incredibly nice. There even is a little Book with the best food places, and they will call a Taxi for you whenever you need one.
I would highly recommend I would go back many more times and have already recommended to many friends and family
