Ancient Ialyssos of Rhodes used to be one of three earliest city-states on Rhodes Island. Ialyssos is located about 10 to 15 km away from the present town of Rhodes on top of a fortified hill. Very friendly hosts, spotless accommodations with nothing lacking. Knowing that the villa is in a quieter area, we had a great time. The host told us that there are excellent restaurants nearby. Otherwise, if you plan daily outings with the rental car, the property is placed quite well. We had no issues with stray cats or barking dogs at the nearby residences.

Everything that you perceive, including all the comforts and beauty, are present. The hosts welcomed all six of us when we arrived and were always available to us. With the help of our hosts, we took advantage of Rhodes' stunning beaches and delicious local cuisine. We wanted to spend time at home because of the opulent amenities. the pool, hammock, and table tennis, as well as the lovely scenery. Even my son enjoyed playing PS4 as we watched movies on the large screen television. Both inside and outside are of the highest quality.
This villa is superb and a true Oasis!
The villa is luxurious and has everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is beautiful - exceptionally clean! The whole property is furnished to a high standard and very clean throughout. We are a family of 5 and there was lots of space. The villa is large enough for 2 families sharing. The space is well designed so there is lots of space to spread out.
The owners were very helpful. They gave us privacy, but immediately answered any questions we had, with helpful tips about places to eat and visit. The restaurants they recommended were amazing! They also organised a boat trip for us to the very beautiful Lindos. The owners father brought us fresh eggs to welcome us which was a lovely touch and upon arrival there was a huge hamper of food items. We arrived so late that this was a very welcome touch.
The villa is close enough to everything - but also far enough away to allow peace and quiet. You can walk to the beach and local shops, but we decided to hire a car. We found parking in Rhodes old town very easy and it is only a few minutes away. We hired the car from the local village as this was half the airport prices.
We highly recommend this beautiful villa and we will definitely visit Oasis villa again.
