Chalet La Ferme a Mamy Morzine is located in a quiet back road but is just an easy 4-minute walk to the centrally located Super Morzine cable car giving easy access to the heart of the Portes-du-Soleil region. The Pleney is a further few minutes walk or just hop on the 'Petit Train' to be taken round to the alternative lifts. We also offer a driver service to take you and pick you up from the lifts, saving you the need to walk anywhere.
Morzine is a charming Alpine village and ski resort in the French Alps, close to the Swiss border, located in the Chablais mountain range between Lake Geneva and famous Mont Blanc. Over the years it has evolved into a charming ski resort in winter and a popular biking destination during summer attracting a plethora of visitors all year round. A French farming village of the past and a mining town, these relics are still traceable in the local produce at the weekly market, and many of the chalets display slate roofs made by local materials.
Morzine is approximately an hour's drive from Geneva Airport and is located the middle of one of the biggest ski areas in the world - the Portes du Soleil. Morzine's ski area displays tree-lined blue and red runs, and it's also linked directly to the ski resorts of Avoriaz and Les Gets. The village is found in an elevation of 900 meters, with a network of lifts reaching the panoramic Chamossière at 1800 meters, and Avoriaz, at 2100 meters offering fascinating views. There is a great network of extensive lift systems and free shuttle services that ensures your way back to your accommodation.
