As you enter the chalet, you are greeted by a spacious lounge, with a roaring log fire and huge comfy sofas. This opens out to the dining area, and essential tea & cake island. For those wishing to spend the evening in the chalet, there is plenty of entertainment available from the chalets Media Centre offering a Wii, NetFlix, and wireless internet access.
Take your pick from one of the cosy and stylish ensuite bedrooms, some with balconies offering stunning views. All the bedrooms offer ample storage space with large fitted wardrobes. Chalet Guytaune Morzine is located in a beautiful elevated position, providing stunning views over Morzine, Montriond, and the surrounding area, yet is only just over a 10-minute walk plus 150m up a hill from the town centre. There is also a free bus stop just 150m from the chalet.
Morzine is a charming Alpine village and ski resort in the French Alps, close to the Swiss border, located in the Chablais mountain range between Lake Geneva and famous Mont Blanc. Over the years it has evolved into a charming ski resort in winter and a popular biking destination during summer attracting a plethora of visitors all year round. A French farming village of the past and a mining town, these relics are still traceable in the local produce at the weekly market, and many of the chalets display slate roofs made by local materials.
Morzine is approximately an hour's drive from Geneva Airport and is located the middle of one of the biggest ski areas in the world - the Portes du Soleil. Morzine's ski area displays tree-lined blue and red runs, and it's also linked directly to the ski resorts of Avoriaz and Les Gets. The village is found in an elevation of 900 meters, with a network of lifts reaching the panoramic Chamossière at 1800 meters, and Avoriaz, at 2100 meters offering fascinating views. There is a great network of extensive lift systems and free shuttle services that ensures your way back to your accommodation.
