REVIEW SCORE

Villa Helena Brac is located in the center of Milna bay with a thousand ships, as it was called by the Venetians, to this mansion home is rubble and rock. It is surrounded by stone houses, plants, and green bushes in an elevated position, overlooking the entire village and part of the marina.

The steps that are leading to the house are refreshed by the lights built into the wall. They are followed by a nice garden with flowers and shaped bushes. Above it is a swimming pool with an outdoor shower. The covered terrace has a natural shelter from the sun: a large olive tree gives freshness throughout the area. Stone table around which are the folding wooden chairs gives the impression of being in a kind of temple. Next to it is also a stone barbecue.

The terrace leads into the kitchen, living room, and dining room since it is all in one place. The white furniture gives a romantic touch to the living room where you can sit in a knitted chair and return to the pirate era because of the brown chest below the TV. Each of the three rooms has its own bathroom. One is traditionally decorated with wooden furniture, the other is the white romantic modeled by a pattern of a living room, and a third is double-bedded with pink accents and hearts hanging on the wall.

Milna is today a favorite nautical port with its two marinas as it is the most protected Brač port. Before it was known for its shipbuilding and right here originated bracera, a typical Dalmatian boat. If you get bored of seeing its historical sites, you can explore the surrounding beautiful bay and harbor: Lučica, Bobovišća, Ložišće. At the entrance to the harbor is also the famous island Mrduja around which a sailing regatta drives every year. And if you long for peace and quiet, come to the Villa Helena Brac: it will give you the best holiday so far!

About the Location

Croatia, Brac

The tranquil island of Brac is situated directly across the mainland port city and metropolis of Split in Dalmatia. The 395 square kilometer island is the third largest in the Adriatic and its approximately 14,000 inhabitants are engaged mainly with tourism, the cultivation of olives and wine as well as the mining of high-quality limestone. Testimony of its quality is that the white limestone from Brac was used among other things for the Diocletian's Palace in Split, the White House in Washington, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin as well as for the New Hofburg in Vienna.

Brac features one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Croatia. This beach is in the shape of a sickle or a horn, called the "Golden Horn" (Zlatni rat) and is a crystalline pebble beach. The Golden Horn is located near the Bol spa and resort and is a destination for many visitors, especially in the high season also due to its numerous secluded coves and beaches. The beaches on Brac are generally very safe for small children. The climate is mild with warm and dry summers with an average temperature of about 25°C and winters are as well mild and rainy. There are approximately 235 days a year of total sunshine on Brac and it is popular with sporty cyclists who appreciate the island's curvy and steeply graded roads, and they especially like coming in spring and autumn when nature blossoms.

Brac is a place where you can enjoy nature all year long and the astonishing beauties of the island, thanks to its favorable climate. The lush green nature in combination with emerald waters and amazing tastes of wine and local cuisine will leave no visitor uncharmed.

Buzzier than ever before, Croatia is increasing its number of travelers each year! This Adriatic country is well known for its rich history, amazing waters, exceptional wines, and delicious food. No wonder why it gains visitors every year!. Croatia’s beautiful shaped coastline is without a doubt its best attraction. Pebble beach’s that end up at dazzling crystal clear waters next to majestic old cities and charming villages all covered from the shades of sapphire and emerald, that’s the shades of its luring waters!
