Adding to the peace and tranquillity, there is a choice of terraces with luxuriously comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a large outdoor dining area. There are two swimming pools, an enormous Yurt (for yoga or could be great kids' play area), a tennis court, an outdoor yoga deck and an outdoor bathroom with a shower located near the pool.
Inside, the property offers a spacious lounge area with huge sofas and feature fireplace; there is a large TV with access to a Movistar satellite package, double glass doors giving access to the terrace which leads down to the pool and there is air conditioning, WiFi and a Sonos system throughout. The downstairs hall has a guest WC for convenience. The large, bright traditionally styled kitchen is fully equipped and open plan with the dining area, it also has double glass doors leading out to a terrace.
San Rafael is a village in Ibiza, located off the main road which connects Ibiza Town and San Antonio, the cradle of the vibrant nightlife scene of the island. San Rafael itself includes its fair share of nightlife venues with two of the most famous clubs of Ibiza, Privilege, and Amnesia giving a special vibe to its otherwise tranquil character. Being primly located within a ten minutes’ drive from Ibiza town, it offers the endless options of the most lively part of the island and at the same time a more low profile place to relax.
A typically quiet village, San Rafael is dominated by a late 18th Century church which is really worth a bit of your time even if you visit it for its view. The church opens up to splendid vistas all the way down to Ibiza town where you can see the castle and the harbor with its sparkling yachts.
San Rafael will surprise you with its great restaurants, including the well-known Ca'n Pilot, which specializes in grilled meats, and it is popular with the local inhabitants as well as with tourists.
San Rafael is mostly famous for its pottery workshops and it has been declared the only artisan zone in Ibiza because of the traditional pottery shops there. Beautiful handmade ceramics and pottery supply the local shops as well as the rest of the island. The process of the ceramic production has remained the same as at the time it was first introduced during the Carthaginian era.
