REVIEW SCORE

Classic and modern together, an innovation that embraces tradition. At Villa Fragranza the holiday is all a detail. A search for essentiality that goes very well with charm and elegance, joining together with comfort. It is for this reason that an experience in this enchanting residence soon becomes a fairy tale to tell. The Villa stands on a hill in the uncontaminated valley of the Ombrone river and enjoys a suggestive view of some typical vineyards and castles that watch over the horizon. Completely restored, this timora represents a contemporary version of the classic Tuscan villa.

The structure will present itself in front of you, in the large entrance courtyard that serves as a parking lot, in all its splendor even if you will discover all its beauty on the opposite side, where the facade opens to three typical loggias surmounted by a similar structure also to the first floor In total, the house can accommodate up to 10 guests, thanks to its 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. In the living area, on the ground floor, you will find the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen but also, separated from the rest, a double bedroom with a bathroom. However, the bedrooms are all on the first floor, the sleeping area of the house. They are all with en-suite bathrooms. On the sides of the courtyard, there are also two low buildings that house one an independent suite and the other a garage with a utility room with a separate service entrance from the kitchen.

In the living room, with red sofas and orange-tinged walls, a cozy fireplace, and a reading and conversation corner with light-colored armchairs that blend well with the exposed white beams. There is also an upright piano. The openings bring a great light throughout the house and allow you to easily go out into the garden to distract yourself or dive into the beautiful swimming pool of 15x5 meters, with a depth of 1.2 meters, served by grass and brick solarium where sunbeds and umbrellas are placed. An iron gazebo, with tables and chairs, will allow you to dedicate yourself to your hobbies, give yourself an aperitif or a cocktail, or, why not, unique convivial moments.

The dining room and kitchen coexist in a large open space. The first is equipped with everything: a professional oven and stove, American fridge, dishwasher, double sink, and many accessories. The kitchen, entrance, and living room have a particular feature in the floors, echoing the colors of the walls, namely green for the kitchen, beige for the entrance, and red for the living room. Also outside, the house has a large sheltered veranda, the perfect place to admire the view.

The bedrooms in the sleeping area are noble with antique furniture, fine details, exposed wooden beams, parquet floors but also terracotta and ethnic pieces that the owners have inserted inside the house after traveling the world. Here then you will find the African room with Berber cushions and Moroccan lamps or the Thai room with Thai elephant and Asian style headboard. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to a large stone balcony. The whole property is completely fenced and the house is equipped with an alarm. Nearby you can visit Buonconvento, one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, Montalcino, a center known worldwide for the production of Brunello wine, San Quirico d’Orcia, many spas but also the wonderful city of Siena.
