Pefkochori beach is located 68km south of Poligiros, the capital of Halkidiki and 80km from Thessaloniki. It is a dreamy beach with emerald waters and light colored sand. Pefkochori includes great tourist facilities and is a lovely beach resort that gets very busy during the high season. It is an ideal destination for the nature lovers and it includes some nice spots such as the nearby beach of Pagliouri. Families much prefer Pefkochori because of its clean and clear waters. The waterfront of Pefkochori is dotted with nice taverns and terrace cafes overlooking the sea. Pefkohori beach offers many snorkeling sites to enjoy its lively sunbed.
Halkidiki is the most popular tourist destination in northern Greece. It is a peninsula divided into three smaller parts, known as the three legs of Halkidiki. The first leg and most popular one is Kassandra with plenty of tourist resorts and organized beaches. The second peninsula is Sithonia, with less organized resorts and more secluded coves. The third peninsula, Mount Athos, is a nearby monastic community where entrance is allowed only to men and after special permission. Great location. Great hospitality. The people were friendly and helpful. The villa was in very good condition and it was kept clean daily.
We were completely satisfied with our stay, everything was amazing! The hosts were kind and available at all times, making us feel at home! The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and with attention to detail. The pool was lovely and the garden and outside areas beautiful. Unbelievable opportunity to have your own barbeque! We enjoyed our tranquility on the beach with amazing sunsets. We found the location very convenient, in a wonderful and quiet neighborhood, just outside the center of the village, which you can easily walk to on a quiet, car-free street.
