Set in large gardens, with stone walls providing total privacy, the villas do not overlook each other and command superb views above green olive groves, vineyards, and dense pinewood to the Adriatic sea. Local craftsmen worked with care and the old traditional way to create an outcome that combines modern comforts with the traditional style of the mountainous village houses. Stone and pine floors, cypress wood beams, period furniture, stylish wrought-iron dining chairs and bedsteads, lace curtains, art pieces by Karla Gerdau and Asimakis Chanionis, incidental furniture all add to the character of these lovely villas.
Villa Niovi Zante is approximately 140 sq.m., surrounded by fenced gardens with views to the sea, and has a private pool and children's pool.
On the ground floor, there is a large open-plan sitting room with an open fireplace, dining area and fitted kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a double room with an en suite bathroom. On the second floor, there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom. The villa hosts up to 6 persons in three bedrooms.
Agios Leon is a small village located 24 km west of Zakynthos Town. It took its name from the 14th-century church of Agios Leon that is found there. You will pass through this village following the western road from Volimes to Maherado. Agios Leon has an authentic character adorned with narrow streets and red-tiled roofs it has kept its traditional architecture. The surrounding nature is pristine and nice for trekking lovers. Agios Leon is close to secluded beaches on the western side of Zakynthos, where the visitor can discover the non-tourist aspect of the island away from the big crowds.
Zakynthos, or Zante, is among the most beautiful and popular islands of the Ionian Sea.
