The ground includes a sitting room with fireplace flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, dining room, kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bathtub and magnifying mirror. Going further up to the attic, we find two more bedrooms (2 twin beds in each) with a bathroom and a wonderful stone-paved veranda offering a breathtaking view across the evergreen pine forest landscape and the famous sunset of Agios Leon village in contrast with the endless blue of the Ionian Sea. The carefully selected natural shades, the liberal use of the white, and the subtle, yet the strong presence of wood, create an atmosphere of freshness and romance.
The pastel tones blend harmoniously with nature. Each of the cottages is different in style and furniture, but all of them offer the same high standards and amenities. All villas have a private swimming pool (7.5 by 3.5 m) and an outdoor shower, garden table, chairs, and umbrella to make the hours spent in the garden pleasant and relaxing. The cottages are fully furnished and include an independent air-conditioning system, fireplace, 21” TV set, DVD player, stereo system, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster.
Agios Leon is a small village located 24 km west of Zakynthos Town. It took its name from the 14th-century church of Agios Leon that is found there. You will pass through this village following the western road from Volimes to Maherado. Agios Leon has an authentic character adorned with narrow streets and red-tiled roofs it has kept its traditional architecture. The surrounding nature is pristine and nice for trekking lovers. Agios Leon is close to secluded beaches on the western side of Zakynthos, where the visitor can discover the non-tourist aspect of the island away from the big crowds.
