Cretan Vineyard Hill Villa is equipped with amenities that will meet the needs of even demanding guests. The villa includes two fully equipped kitchens with all-electric appliances, two fully furnished living rooms, and dining areas. It also includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a Jacuzzi bathtub, and a fireplace. There is also high-speed WiFi internet in the whole area of the villa and other amenities that will make your stay pleasant. In the pool area, you can enjoy the magnificent view and have moments of relaxation. Next to the pool, there is the BBQ area with a wood oven and a grill and everything you will need to prepare your meal. It is also worthwhile to point out that our guests can watch or participate in the vine harvest if they happen to be in the villa at the time of the event.
Kato Kalesia is an inland village close to Heraklion city. The closest beach is at Ammoudara, at a distance of 9km. There is no touristic infrastructure in the village which has maintained its authentic and traditional character.

It is a city of contrasts, offering intense nightlife in nearby regions such as Malia and Hersonissos, but also many peaceful places, particularly on the southern side. The Villa was well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Kostas and his parents took every effort to make sure all our needs were met, stocking the house with milk, water, juice, their own wine, olive oil and raki, fruit and a home baked cake! They were contactable and responded quickly to any problems we had. Would definitely recommend!
If you are considering a holiday here you will not regret. outstanding and probably the best villa I have stayed in. would go back in a heartbeat.
Spacious villa and had everything we needed.
This was an exceptional experience for us.The villa is gorgeous and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. We stayed here with our adult children for a post Covid reunion.It was so spacious and we made good use of the swimming pool,table tennis and pool table. The gym ,predictably for us remained untouched…lol. We used the barbecue a lot.It was a great little spot to gather for a pre dinner drink . The 3 bedrooms upstairs had lovely views of the sea and or the mountains and the 2 downstairs bedrooms had access to a terrace with table and chairs overlooking the vines. The villa was spotless with beautiful bed linen and comfy beds. What really makes this place was the hosts who live in a house on the vineyard so were on hand if we needed anything. Their house was some distance away so the villa is completely private. We are well-traveled and have stayed in many lovely places but the hospitality we received here is second to none. Amalia made us the most amazing Cretan meal and we had endless supplies of fresh eggs,and fruit from their trees. We were even treated to some of their wine , Raki and olive oil. Yiannis showed us around the gardens pointing out the different fruit trees and we got to meet the chickens. There is a small supermarket in the village within walking distance which had good quality meat for the barbie. Otherwise the main town is about 5 to 10 minute by car and Heraklion is about a 20 minutes drive. I would recommend car hire to get the most out of a holiday on the beautiful island of Crete though. Thank you for the most amazing stay. We know everyone says this but we really do hope to return.
From the wine, home made liquors, lovely fruits, as well as the lovely cake and meal prepared for us. Not forgetting the assistance to show us the supermarket and to pick up our car. The beautiful villa and its amenities were perfect for our family and we left Crete with memories of a wonderful Greek family and its generous hospitality which we will always remember . We will be talking of Cretan Vineyard Hill Villa for a long time and would love to come back one day. Thank you again for everything.
