It was tempting not to go out! But there are a few decent restaurants just a few minutes walk away and a well stocked small supermarket. The beach is only mins away too with lots of restaurants so a car is really not needed once you have arrived.
The host was fantastic - so welcoming. We loved the villa and it is well furnished and the kitchen well equipped. It is not a new villa and so there were a few tiny issues eg with a door knob being loose and a leak in the sink which was very quickly fixed by the great host so don't let that put you off! We loved it - would definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at this villa in Crete. It has two separate apartments, fully equipped with everything we needed. The private pool was spotless (cleaned during our stay) and offered breathtaking views. It was the best accommodation we had in Greece – peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly located. Don’t miss the nearby taverna Elpis – amazing local food! Highly recommended.
It’s walking distance to a nearby town square with a few tavernas and markets as well as a short, hilly walk down to the beach with lots more to do.
The villa itself meets all the needs for your stay with an incredible outdoor area/view and Michalis is an amazing host that was in constant communication. He did everything to make sure we felt welcomed. Highly recommend staying at this villa!

The villa has a perfect view of the bay in Almyrida. Just a few minutes walk from the villa is a handful of restaurants, of which we spent most of our time at Taki’s!

Everything was perfect, the house has a beautiful view to the bay and the ocean. The house is fully equipped, perfect for huge group of friends for a vacation.
Very well equiped, it has all you need for a perfect stay for two families with kids. Elpis restaurant 200meters away was our cantine, warm welcoming and very good food. The location of the villa is perfect, restaurants and supermarket at walking distance.
The host is a very communicative and available host. He answered very quickly to all our demands and was keen to please us every time he can. We recommend this house and his host without hesitation !
The property is wonderful, with everything you see in the description and pictures, plus more. The view is great and you can enjoy it from the terrace, balconies or the pool. Michalis made the experience even better, from the excellent communication, easy checkin, to providing suggestions for things to do. The location is very good, quiet, close to different types of activities. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a very nice vacation in Crete.

The welcome with a basket of fruits and the kindness of the owners. Very friendly and child friendly places, and very relaxing - away from the hustle and bustle of Cretan resorts.
We had this place for a week during our wedding. 2x5 person apts together so good for 2 families to share if you want the privacy. Fantastic view over Souda Bay. Had a quiet party that easily accommodated 30. Fantastic BBQ area and small pool. Plenty of space for kids to run around if you have them. For 8 of us adults it was nice and quiet. Certainly one to book again if we go over as a family group.
Great views and perfect common area by the pool. Michalis and Leonidas responded quickly and were great at helping out if anything went wrong. Only downside was that there was often a smell of sewage on the lower floor and that there were power outages once in a while.
