There is also a large terrace with sun loungers, a sofa and panoramic views, a bedroom with twin beds (convertible into a King), and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and access to a private balcony with a sitting set and sea and mountain views. Of course, there is a large pool with a children’s area, sun loungers, umbrellas, hammocks, and a dining/sitting area. Kokkino Chorio Chania is located in the northwest part of Chania, in the Apokoronas region. Its architecture with stone-built houses gives it a very traditional character. At a very close distance, there are several sandy beaches with crystalline waters, while the area around the village is characterized by its many caves such as Karavospilios and Katalimata. The square in front of the central church of the village was the filming location of the 1964 awarded film “Zorba the Greek” starring Anthony Quinn. Close to the village “Cave of elephants” is full of stalactites and stalagmites and surely will be a unique experience. Worth visiting at the entrance of the village is a glass processing factory, open for visitors to witness this beautiful craft of blown glass making.

We have just returned from our holiday in Villa Armi - there were 6 of us including my husband and 2-year old, my parents and my brother. Even before we arrived, the communication from the owners was brilliant, they made us feel like everything was taken care of for our arrival.. Natasa had supplied us with some food shopping we had ordered, plus some very generous gifts of food & wine when we arrived which was a lovely touch. They stayed in communication with us throughout the week, and no task was too big or too small. The villa was spotless and well equipped - even supplying a highchair, cot and food preparation equipment for our son. The villa itself is a short drive to a well-stocked mini supermarket and also to the nearest town of Almyrida which has a nice beach as well as a generous selection of bars and restaurants - covering traditional Greek food as well as Italian, Sushi & others.
We stayed in Villa Armi, one of a small collection of villas offered by Adeste Villas, for a wonderful weeks family holiday this August. 3 x en-suite king size bedrooms, (beds very comfortable), well equipped kitchen, almost silent air conditioning throughout (wonderful!) and a glorious pool overlooking Soudha Bay and the Aegean Sea beyond. Outdoor dining area with gas grill. Maid service daily as required. Crete offers a very chilled pace and we loved it. Nothing was too much trouble. The in-villa chef service was an indulgent luxury that we were so excited to do and it was absolutely worth it! Thank you for looking after us so well
