The nearest sandy beach, named Almyrida is less than 1 km away. The villa has special decoration and style. The rooms' design has nothing less than a family home. The villa consists of three floors.
On the first floor there is a kitchen, a lounge living room and a bathroom with a shower. On the second floor of the house, there are two bedrooms and a second bathroom. The first bedroom has a balcony with a view to the sea. On the first floor, there is also a big veranda with a 300 m2 garden, a garden lounge, and parking. The view of the house is simply spectacular! The lower floor is an open area that consists of a sitting area and a sleeping area with a double bed. On this floor, there is a pool table and a wide French door that leads to a paved garden. There are also washing machines for clothes and dishes, fridge and refrigerator, air-conditions and central heating, oven and cooker, TV home theater, DVD player and stereo for pleasant music hours. There are also towels and linen for all the beds available for guests.
Plaka is a quiet village in the Apokoronas region, east of Chania, above Kalives and Almirida at about 2km. The village is developing rapidly since there is an interest from tourists to buy houses in the area. In Plaka, there is a large square under the shelter of trees with taverns, a church, and picturesque alleys that lead to beautiful villas. On the way from Plaka to coastal villages, there is a magnificent view of Souda Bay where from the sunset is breathtaking. Further down you can have a refreshing dive in the waters of Almyrida and Kalyves.

The stay was 2 months and was good for a relaxing time away from it all and the hosts were helpful and available for whatever I needed from cookware to travel suggestions on Crete.
Me and my wife had a long four-week stay at the cottage. The location is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views and plenty of privacy. The host was gracious and very prompt in helping us get to the place. We‘ve received many hints and tips and perfect recommendations for this area of Kreta. We're hoping to visit again!
