Because of its position, the villa offers an incredible view of Souda Bay and the mountains offering full privacy for our guests. The villa can accommodate 6 people in beds and up to 8 people if necessary (there is a sofa bed). The interior design of our luxury villa is modern and functional. Entering the villa on the ground floor, you will find a spacious open plan area that contains the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor dining table, and an exit to the veranda. On the same floor, there is also a WC.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with a king-size bed that can also be set up as two singles. Both bedrooms offer magnificent views from the terrace. On this floor, there is also a bathroom that contains a bath with a tub. The lower level is a spacious modern open area. It includes a bedroom a kitchen and a living room orientated and equipped as a stylish studio. There is a double bed, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, and a bathroom enclosure with a shower. There is also direct access to the pool area.
The mattresses are designed to offer absolute relaxation and comfort, made from anatomic materials like latex, memory foam, and coconut fibres. The outdoor area of the villa has a minimal design 2,50 x 9 m swimming pool and a garden area, there are modern outdoor living area furniture, dining table, sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a parking space for 2 cars. The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced.
Sternes is a settlement located southeast of Akrotiri and in a distance of 15km from the city of Chania. It is built in an altitude of 170m on a plateau with a magnificent view towards Souda Bay. Sternes is a place of great history and around the village, there are catacombs dating back to the early Christian era. In Sternes there are also the caves of Spilia, Marathospilos, and Katevati for exploration and numerous sandy beaches such as Marathi and Loutraki with emerald waters dotted with nice café-bars and excellent fresh fish restaurants along the coast. What impresses the visitors of Sternes today is the great number of churches found in the village, which are 24 in total. The village accommodates the N.A.T.O American base as well.

In October, my wife and I went on a weeklong vacation with our adult daughters to Villa Anemi. We went on a lot of trips because the first few days' weather wasn't particularly summerlike. We didn't make as much use of the villa's unique features, such as the pool and the expansive terraces with a stunning view of the port of Souda. But we had a great time there. Unquestionably necessary is a rental car.
Nice villa with all the amenities! I adore the private apartment in the basement! Excellent view and the welcome present is lovely. Highly advised if you wish to stay anywhere other than Chania.
The property is close to a few lovely beaches and 20 minutes' drive from Chania. The house is just as it seems in the photos, with convenient parking, a lovely garden with a pool, and a stunning sea outlook. The owner also provided some snacks and drinks for our first aperitivo, and the house is quite well furnished. Definitely a recommendation!
The pool was the ideal place to cool off on those sweltering summer days. At the villa, parking was incredibly simple. On either side, there were neighbors. Chania was conveniently located only a 15-minute drive away, but getting to the bustling city center required some preparation.
Vila Anemi is in a wonderful location, ideal for a large (or extended) family. The location is excellent—it's a quiet neighborhood approximately 10 minutes from the airport. Although Chania is approximately 20 minutes away, you can also explore the adjacent Marathi for nice dining. The vila is well-equipped and has a gorgeous swimming pool that is 1.9 meters deep (even more beautiful than on the pictures). The cleaning staff was excellent. The Vila was ideal for us because we were traveling with a baby and the owner had set up a really nice baby bed and chair in the basement.
