It was a great villa. Excellent layout, lovely interiors, and everything we required. The master suite, which featured breath-taking mountain vistas, was especially magnificent. There is no doubt that much thought went into the architecture and decoration. The pool area and terrace outside were fantastic. There is enough room for the 10 of us in the kid-friendly pool. also really comfortable sun loungers. The outdoor shower was quite helpful. The villa is at a great position. literally a stone's throw from a number of lovely beaches, each with something special to offer. There are numerous eateries nearby, and the old town is only a brief bus ride away. The bus stop is in front of the villa. The villa manager was superb. Really knowledgable, helpful, and considerate. Without a doubt, we would return
A beautiful home with easy access to the beach and Chania by bus. Michael was a wonderfully open-minded and supportive host. Definitely a recommendation!
The villa is very modern and spacious inside and out.
The villa has a great pool and BBQ area for relaxing in the sun or if you’re feeling energetic there is an outside gym across the road. A short walk to
the sandy beach will take you a couple of minutes, which has a very nice beach bar for drinks and snacks.
Location of the villa is great with the beach two minutes away and two very well stocked supermarkets just up the road, which gives your plenty of choice if you wish to dine in.
There is a bus stop just outside the villa across the road. Number 21 takes you down to the harbour, which is a beautiful setting, full of restaurants, bars and shops which makes a lovely day out.
Mike the property Manager is on hand for any questions you might have, he is very helpful and was contactable via email or mobile. He also arrange our transfers from the airport to the villa which we found very reasonable and the service was first class.
So thank you to the Sea Queen villa / Crete for giving us such a wonderful family holiday to remember!
The Villa is simply stunning, well maintained and exceptionally well equipped. There was plenty of space for everyone indoors and out and the pool is beautifully clean and refreshing! However the best thing is property manager Mike who goes out of his way to help and is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and any other places you may wish to visit.
He also organised airport transfers for us at very competitive prices, which I would highly recommend especially if you are flying in to Heraklion as we did. The taxi/minibus was top notch and extremely comfortable.
There are car rental offices within walking distance of the villa if you do want to get out and about. Lots of restaurants (we would recommend Kuchina Galerie) and shops within walking distance. There are four fabulous beaches within a 10 minute walk and Chania Old Town is only 10 minutes in a taxi (cheaper than the bus if there are a few of you) or 45 minutes walk.
Sea Queen Villa is one of the best places we have stayed in and I would recommend without hesitation.
Why?
- Our host, Mike, is the best property manager we ever have had. So helpful and friendly
- The destination of the villa must be one of the best destinations in Crete! We could see the beach/ocean from the villa, we ran and trained in the park just beside the villa, and just around the corner we had groceries and restaurants
- The garden had a wonderful pool, and we made food at the barbecue almost every night
- The house was perfect for 2 families!
- Finally Chania is a really a nice town – especially the old town I Chania – and for about 8 euro a taxi will take you to Chania. Busses also drives to Chania – the busstop is 200 metres from the villa.

We had the honour to be the first to rent this villa,as it was finished in March 2016, one month before our arrival.The villa is absolutely perfect, even better than described.It's clear that the owner didn't spare any money when he built it because everything is top quality.It can accomodate 10 persons and every room has it's own bath.The master bedroom, located alone on the 1st floor is gorgeous and it has a superb view over the park and the beach.The location is gorgeous, quiet, green, and at a very short walking distance to 4 beautifull sandy beaches.It is very close to to Chania Venetian Harbour and city center where you can drive for maximum 10 minutes, or take the bus, passing on the road in front of the villa.Most of all, we would like to thank to the owner,Mr. Mihalis, who made us feel like home.
