Galatas village is found 6km west of Chania Town and is the birthplace of one of the most important Greek composers, Mikis Theodorakis. The village of Galatas is located in a fertile valley of citrus fruits and olive groves that create a unique scenery along with the scarlet red-tiled roofs of the little houses. In the center of the village, you will find the whitewashed church of St. Nicolas. The coastal settlement of Galatas includes the Kalamaki organized beach with its fine sand and shallow waters that is a pole of attraction for many tourists every year. It was a fantastic stay!!! Sofia was super friendly, welcoming and very quickly accessible for questions. The house was beautiful, beautifully made, all facilities available and clean. The swimming pool is large, beautiful and at an extra charge wonderfully warm water at the end of April. The service was also great, many necessary consumer items already present (water, soap, toilet paper, detergent, herbs, etc.) and also cozy first items ready so that we could first go ahead until shopping the next day. In addition, intermediate cleaning, changing beds and new towels.
Accurate representation (inside and outside, pool area included) with great facilities/spaces. Very clean as well. Also, very high service levels with the host being available, proactive and easy to communicate. The location worked for us nicely as it is very close to the city and to nearby beaches, but also to the highway for any excursions.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They were always available to provide helpful suggestions and assist us with any arrangements we required. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring different parts of the island, thanks to its convenient access to the highway. Without a doubt, we would choose to stay here again in the future.
Villa was amazing! Everything was on good condition and clean. Magnifient view to green valley and snow capped mountains. Swimming pool was great for kids and adults as well. Owner was very kind and helpful. We'd love to come again!

The location was excellent with beautiful views. Sofia was a fantastic host, brought us cake and lots of welcome treats including wine and fruit. She was always in contact if needed and gave us very good recommendations and advice about our trip. The villa was beautiful and decorated to a very high standard.
We loved our stay at this Villa! The hosts were very helpful. They greeted us upon arrival, provided recommendations for local activities/attractions and helped arrange for a private boat tour to Balos. The view from the villa is amazing (better than the pictures suggest). The pool was excellent as well, especially for the kids. You can reach Galatas within a 10-minute walk where you can get to a coffee shop, convenience store and several nice taverns. The villa was is nicely decorated and everything worked well. The hosts stocked the kitchen with snacks/bread/cheese/wine/cookies for our arrival. Overall, this place is great and I plan to return!
It was an unforgettable stay! An incredibly beautiful villa with an incredibly beautiful view, beautiful pool, huge garden and 1st class facilities! Nothing was missing. The welcome was fantastic, there was fruit, sparkling wine, fresh flowers and more.
