Blue Sea Villa Rhodes is located conveniently near the center of Gennadi village where visitors can find some nice restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, pharmacies and beach bars within walking distance. The villa is also just a short drive away from Lindos with its’ magnificent Acropolis and lively atmosphere, as well as Prasonisi that is famous for its unique natural environment and organized wind surfing facilities.
Gennadi in Rhodes, Dodecanese is a village located 60 km south of central Rhodes. It is a small settlement with tasteful taverns, small hotels, apartments and villas. Wander around the narrow streets and picturesque white-washed houses. The old olive press of the village will reveal techniques of the past. Do not omit to taste the fine Greek cuisine. Gennadi will also amaze you with its crystalline beaches. Worth visiting are the magnificent Byzantine churches of Ioannis Theologos and Agia Anastasia. There are various local shops with great souvenirs and handmade objects of folklore art. You can also take a short walk in Gennadi barrage which boasts small lakes in a beautiful verdant scenery. Last but not least, if you are a surf lover Prassonisi is the place to choose for some surfing action.

Very nice house, pictures are older, the outbuildings are not shown on them, but since they were still under construction, we were there in the off-season and there was also a new fence around the patio, it wasn't a problem
Since it's a little out of the way, renting a car is a convenient method to travel. Taxis are pricey and we didn't have one. however, it's a short stroll to the stores and taverns. The host was really kind and went above and above to make sure we had everything we required. It is the ideal balance between peace and quiet and a vibrant enough location nearby, but it is not a spot for folks who desire bright lights.
A brand-new, roomy home in a lovely neighborhood that is close to the beach and the town center, which is also easily accessible on foot. Because the neighboring house was still under construction, we also noticed that it was unusually peaceful. Due to how close and gorgeous the sea is, we have never used the grill that is already there, and we have just once utilized the swimming pool. However, during our visit, the pool was routinely cleaned. We never met the contact person, but we promptly received all of the check-in and check-out instructions.
The setting was ideal. about a six-minute walk from the village. The village of Gennadi is a great location to explore the island and has some fantastic eateries. The sights make the uphill return trip worthwhile. The villa was immaculate and furnished with all of your needs. The pool was beautiful and the perfect size for us. It is guaranteed that we will return.
The size of the rooms and the presence of mosquito netting on every door and window. The house next door is vacant, and the pool is not too small.
Location is up an inclined track about 5-10 minutes stroll from the village. Not suitable if you have difficult walking - but fine for most people. The villa is quite secluded - no one else staying nearby at the time we were there.
Very well equipped villa and is modern (seems very new). Would suggest no more than 4 people here - as outdoor space is limited. Only 2 sunbeds, for example.
3-4 eateries in the village. 4 tavernas at the beach about 20 mins stroll. Also a couple of bars/cafe's in the village. Well equipped supermarket, green grocer and bakery. The village is quiet at night (although Lab 24 bar is quite lively) so if you are looking for karaoke bars and entertainment - this is not the place for you. The village has a mix of locals and holiday makers.
We stayed here as two couples in August 2016 and had an absolutely faultless stay. The villa is set just outside of Gennadi - a quaint little village in the South of Rhodes.
The villa had everything we needed and more, the pool was an amazing addition proving extremely useful to escape the midday heat.
I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing and quiet escape in a beautiful part of Rhodes. The surrounding area remains traditional, as are the locals giving a feel of authenticity that other parts of more tourist Rhodes does not have.
I would however advise anyone staying here to pick up some transport for the duration of your stay, the village is approx 10-15 mins away from the villa which is set on quite a steep hill.
We travelled to Rhodes beginning of April, with our 2 daughters, age 7 and 9.
We had a amazing time in Blue sea Villa in Gennadi. The small village is located about 1h15 from Rhodes airport, we arrived around midnight there and the owner, Stefanakis, was waiting for us at the entrance of the village. Really thoughful, we had bought breakfast for us, so we would have to go shopping early morning.
The villa is new, with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, as well as a terrace. Outside, a nice swimming pool and lounge chairs, and a barbecue. Free wifi available.
The villa is really clean and perfectly settled on a hill with view over the village and the ocean. The village of Gennadi has everything you need, a supermarket with a butcher, a bakery, vegetables and fruits shop, nice restaurant (try Mama's Kitchen, a must do !) , pharmacy,etc...
We were really happy to stay in a nice small village, away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger city of Rhodes. People are friendly and nice. Long beach 2 minutes by car from the villa. We rented a car to travel around the island.
We've spend amazing holidays in Gennadi and if we were to come back one day we will surely stay at Blue Sea Villa again !
