The owners who were waiting for us to explain everything to us was a wonderful entry. After that we really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the wonderful sea, all the facilities in the house and the wonderful weather. This is an absolute must for us! Everything is taken care of down to the last detail, the owners are very friendly and it is a true place to relax.
Hosts were greeat people. Incredibly accommodating and loving. Very nice interior with many interior design details.
The hosts gave us a heartfelt welcome. The villa is in a gorgeous position, and there were enough of supplies in the house for the first four days. a short distance from the beach, which is remarkably quiet and has its own sun loungers and umbrellas, and walking distance from Gennadi, which has a number of excellent restaurants and a grocery. The property itself is spacious, has air conditioning in every bedroom, and is completely peaceful.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The holiday started as soon as you entered Villa Mary. The fridge was already stocked and we were surprised with a welcome gift, thank you very much. We had our own section of beach with private loungers. Pebble beach bathing shoes are recommended. The sea was a dream. We also liked the proximity to Gennady. There you get everything you need. There are many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Die Gennadi Villa Mary liegt am Rande des netten Dörfchens direkt am sauberen Kiesstrand mit klarem Meerwasser und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen, die man auf dem Balkon, der Terrasse oder direkt am Strand genießen kann.
Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, verschiedenste Kaffeemaschinen, ein vollständiges Küchensortiment, schöne Möbel, ein durchdachtes Wohnkonzept. Hier wurde an nichts gespart. In jedem der Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein SmartTV mit Netflix Angebot, auch wenn wir dieses nicht in Anspruch genommen haben, da unser Aufenthalt wunderschön war: der schön angelegte Garten, der direkte Zugang zum Strand mit 6 eigenen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, Gesellschaftsspiele, ein Cocktail von der Strandbar 100m weiter und köstlichem Essen in einer der Tavernen und Restaurants vor Ort. Auch der Besuch beim örtlichen Bäcker ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und überaus freundlich. Man spürt mit wie viel Liebe diese Unterkunft geschaffen wurde.
Wir haben uns bestens erholt und empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr gerne Jedem weiter, der in Ruhe entspannen möchte und von einem Haus am Meer träumt.
Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and parents. Was met by the owner at the property to receive the keys. He even drove us to get some extra food and beer, which was completely unnecessary as he had left enough groceries to easily get us through a day. This really left a great first impression that didn't falter through our entire stay.
It's an Absolutely amazing location, especially if you are looking to get away from the crowds of rhodes town and lindos. Close enough to gennadi to walk and grab dinner and you have a virtually private beach. All the facilities were in top shape, and it's clear they are well looked after. There is also a bbq to use and cook your own meals, which is very nice, and a nice change from eating out every night.
I'd highly recommended to stay here. Make sure you rent a car though, so you can go explore the attractions nearby (lindos, prasonissi beach, monolithos castle, and many more)
As well being a runner, I found some lovely trails in the hills behind gennadi, just follow the power lines.
All in all, dont really have a bad word to say about the place!
I would like to start with a big Thank you to Pantelis, Flora and daughter Mary who where at the Villa waiting for us when we arrived, which made us feel welcomed and at home.
We where shown round by the hosts who had great pleasure in sharing with us how much care and attention had gone into preparing the Villa for us. They had thought of everything, even the food that had been put into this Villa was very welcomed, which means whatever time you arrive you will be able to not worry about shopping until the next day as there was more than the basics supplied. There were some great games that we played while we sat watching the sunset in the evening.
The Villa is lovely and so well laid out that you will enjoy all it has to offer and more, due to the homely and spacious feel it has even before you get outside to see the pool and the beach at the end of the garden, which we used every day we were there as felt like our own beach, it was magical.
The village is close enough to walk to if you want to eat out but there is a bus stop close by too where we caught a bus into Lindos. If you need transport there are rental places within easy walking distance too.
If you are looking for that somewhere special I would honestly say that Villa Mary has what you need, as it has a lovely, calm, and relaxed feel that will make you not want to leave.
It has it all and I can't say enough to the lovely family that are happy to share this special place with others so Thank You again from us all.

Villa Mary is a fantastic property, very well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Every little detail has been taken care of.
The beds are large and very comfortable ... the best we have ever slept in on a holiday.
Plenty of space inside the villa with all rooms bright and clean but very homely too!
Outside, you are just moments from the shore and the ‘Sposa’ beach bar restaurant.
The pool is perfect and has beautiful views over the adjoining fields and of the mountains in the distance. The location is very peaceful so great for relaxing with no interruptions.
A 15 minute walk takes you to several restaurants and all amenities, but would recommend a car.
The owners of Villa Mary are a lovely family and made us feel so welcome and they were so helpful to us. Also, Christos, the gentleman who maintains the villa was so kind and helpful.
We would highly recommend Villa Mary to anyone wanting a relaxing break with a luxurious yet homely feel.

Beautifully decorated villa with attention to every detail which ensured a wonderful holiday. There was a delicious array of local produce left for us including bottles of excellent wine. We thoroughly enjoyed all of this.
With the beach on your doorstep what more could you want . The small swimming pool was an added bonus.
