Les Gets Ski Resort is a charming alpine village that has maintained its authentic character. It is part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, which is the largest ski area in Europe. Les Gets has its throne at 1172 meters of height in the French Alps and boasts fascinating views. Its architectural style comprises a mix of traditional Savoyard chalets and more modern wooden-and-stone buildings constructed in harmony with their beautiful alpine surroundings, providing all the modern facilities and amenities, whilst still retaining the charm of an 800-year-old alpine community. The ski area includes 14 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 400km of downhill skiing, with 285 marked pistes, served by a total of 196 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine, Saint Jean d'Aulps, Champoussin, Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins and Torgon. With ski lifts as high as 2,470m, snow cover is generally reliable.
