Hidden in the exclusive Palmeraie area of Marrakech, Ezzahra is a stylish private estate of three luxury villas, fifteen minutes drive from the hubbub of the Medina. The villas are in 20,000 square meters of landscaped gardens with ancient olive trees, date palms, and orange and pomegranate trees.
The newly built Villa Azzaytouna (meaning olive in Arabic) stands in 5,000 square meters of gardens filled with lavender, orange blossom, bougainvillea, and olive trees. This is a private retreat, which can sleep up to six guests and cannot be seen from Villa Ezzahra. The interiors, which have a contemporary Moroccan feel, have been designed by Philip Hooper from Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler.
Villa Azzaytouna features many souks finds, which include Berber benches, wooden carved doors, antique pots, and Beni Ourain rugs. The villa has a 12.8-meter pool with loungers and Indian daybeds, a large sunken Berber tent for evening drinks, a dining terrace overlooking the pool, a sitting/dining room with open fire, and a stand out the domed ceiling with bespoke Moroccan bauble lights.
All three bedrooms have private terraces and open fires. Two of the rooms have private plunge pools, which are lit at night, and large daybeds on the terrace.
Villa Azzaytouna has a shared exercise track of 330 meters with various exercise equipment for instance trx straps, weights, benches, etc around the track.
The house comes fully staffed, including your very own chauffeur for trips within Marrakech, and is managed by the Ezzahra estate manager Maria, who will assist you with all your requirements.
