REVIEW SCORE

A former shepherd's house transformed into a charming buen retiro in the Tuscan hills, away from the daily chaos in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. This is how Villa Rosetta appears in all its majesty, with the warm colors of its facade. Located on top of a hill, it dominates the hills below made of evergreen trees that divide the landscape between earth and sky.

Served by a convenient asphalted road that cuts through the landscape offering unique views, the house is very large and spread over an area of almost 400 square meters capable of accommodating up to 18 people. On the ground floor, you will be received in a large living room with a characteristic fireplace. Here you will also find the dining room, a large fully equipped kitchen, and three double bedrooms with bathrooms. Upstairs is another double bedroom with a private bathroom.

The first floor also houses a real independent apartment for 10 people with a large living room with fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and second kitchen for preparing meals outdoors, five bedrooms and five bathrooms. You can sit on a comfortable terrace to enjoy an all-around view of the outside. In the large garden, on one side of the house, you will have a swimming pool 10 meters long by 5 wide, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.40 meters. By the pool, the Villa is equipped with sun loungers and two green pergolas with tables and chairs where you can spend moments of conviviality but also devote yourself to your work or your favorite hobbies. There is also a barbecue area.

Lavender hedges surround the property, delivering, on hot summer days, an intoxicating scent that mixes with the colors of the geranium plants placed at the entrance and in some passageways in all the outdoor areas. The location of the house guarantees absolute privacy even from prying eyes. The car park is also discreetly hidden. The Villa is part of a property where excellent wines are produced that will be the welcome card for every stay. Internally the house looks like a typical Tuscan residence with terracotta floors, large fireplaces in the living rooms where there are colored sofas and armchairs. Many rooms, especially those in the sleeping area, feature exposed wooden beams and period furniture.

The external light kisses Villa Rosetta entering every corner and every space and offering enchanting views of the outside that change continuously with the passing of the hours. Among the attractions of the area is the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests that will allow you unique excursions.

Florence is an open-air exhibit of art and culture, known worldwide as the heart of the Renaissance, and the home of fine art and literature. Signature examples include Filippo Brunelleschi’s Duomo and Michelangelo’s timeless statue of David, arguably the most recognizable benchmarks of western culture to date. The romantic Ponte Vecchio, one of Europe’s last fully stone bridges, gives Florence the notoriety it deserves and a very unique flair. The vision of Renaissance men and thinkers including Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, or Dante Alighieri had a great impact and changed our literally and visual world forever, and Florence is the city where it all began: in fact, Florence gave birth to the Renaissance.

Its painting-like rolling landscape has determined rural chic, making Florence area a favorite destination for food and wine lovers, not to exclude Renaissance art ones. Hills outlined by endless rows of cypress trees, majestic castles, thermal spa towns, Lilliputian medieval villages lost amidst olive groves, compose an idyllic region that also features gorgeous emerald green seaside such as Maremma and Argentario, as well as dramatic mountains.
