REVIEW SCORE

Located in the coastal region of Tuscany, famous for its internationally renowned Super-Tuscans wines such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, and Guado al Tasso, located between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri and less than an hour from Pisa international airport, Villa Bellomo Tuscany is a delightful commingling of English and Mediterranean taste together with a formidable Tuscany location, a fantastic retreat for those who love the elegant and the opulent.

Originally a farming house dating back to 1800, Villa Bellomo Tuscany has just undergone a major restoration and redecoration by its owner, a name in contemporary Art in London, and it has first been re-inhabited starting from 2012. The house, situated in the middle of more than 30 acres of very private, commanding land and standing at the top of a hill with breath-taking views, is a perfect fit for ten guests, however, it can host easily up to twelve, featuring four double bedrooms and two further bedrooms with adjustable single or queen size beds, while one extra double bedroom is located on a semi-annex (adjacent to the villa).

The heart of the house is the very spacious living room, formidably decorated with unique antique and contemporary furniture, while guests will only spend time on the spacious porch during the Summer. With one of the most poetic swimming pools in stone of the entire Tuscany rental scenario, surrounded by flowers blossoms, and Tuscan stone, and with its red clay tennis court, Villa Bellomo Tuscany stands out amongst all in the area and offer private access to the beach with privately-owned huts, changing cabins, shower, and sunbeds, just twenty minutes away.

About the Location

Italy, Tuscany, Maremma

Monte Argentario is a peninsula of the Province of Grosseto in Tuscany, located about 150 kilometers south of Florence, 150km from Pisa and about 35 kilometers south of Grosseto. The two main villages on Monte Argentario are Porto Santo Stefano, the chief town with splendid views to the Tuscan archipelago, and Porto Ercole an elegant fishing village.

A former island off the coast of Tuscany, Monte Argentario is now connected to the mainland and is quite a special rugged spot for those who do not wish to pick between mountain and sea since this place combines them both.

Nearby are the islands of Giannutri and Giglio. The possibilities in Monte Argentario are endless since the natural ambiance offers a plethora of fauna in preserved lagoons, while those seeking for something more excessive they will find a beautiful gold court by the sea.

Monte Argentario doesn’t bear a typical Tuscany character since it once belonged to both Spain and Naples and its flair is more of a southern Italian city. It features more untamed beauty than most parts of Tuscany. The mountain is embraced by a beautiful, rocky coastline.

The Argentario comprises the famous seaside towns of Orbetello, Albinia, Talamone, the medieval village of Fonteblanda, famous Giglio Island - as well as the islet of Giannutri. The Argentario combines mild climate all year round, and beautiful emerald and long sandy beaches. Since the early sixties, Argentario attracted elite tourism being just 130 km from the intercontinental airport of Rome.

Argentario is home to the large lagoon ecosystem of Orbetello, which hosts a nature reserve managed by WWF, where rare birds, including pink flamingo, aigrettes, nest.

Tuscany is a place like nowhere else in the world; this is the reason why this region is at the tops bucket lists all over the globe. Amazing landscapes, beautiful hilltop towns and the fantastic capital city of Florence charm everyone who decides to visit it. It is a majestic region with almost half of the artistic heritage of Italy and fantastic landscapes. Due to its mild weather, you could visit Tuscany all year round. It’s a region with exceptional art towns and hilltop villages and with a heritage of a glorious past with unspoiled nature, spectacular sea coast, and beautiful islands. Here you will taste some of the best wine varieties and then you can relax to one of its thermal spas.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
