REVIEW SCORE

Life is as it should be, Dick Bont reminds us. It is up to us to give it direction. Even in the choice of a home to spend the holidays. Because there are places that have a soul, just like Villa Palma. Immersed in the Trapani countryside, a few kilometers from the sea, this structure of over 250 square meters is on two floors. He smiles at the sun during the day and winks at the moon at night.

On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living area with a spectacular arched window overlooking the rear garden - the perfect place to sit and read a book from the large collection of books available. To make you appreciate these spaces, even more, will be the antique furniture, the ceilings with exposed beams, the terracotta floors, and the precious leather sofas together with a 65 ”TV and a stereo system that will play music for your ears. Also on the ground floor is a living room with large French windows that will lead you directly to the veranda and garden. Here too sofas and TV will allow you to spend hours in absolute relaxation.

Convenient and comfortable, separated from the other rooms, also the dining room with a large table for 10 people. Finally, a professional stainless steel kitchen by Angelo Po with 4 large gas hobs, oven, freezer, large refrigerator, dishwasher, will complete the equipment that will prepare you for an unforgettable stay.
Also on the ground floor, facing the garden, a beautiful family room with a double bed and a single bed, air conditioning and heating, a large wardrobe, French windows opening onto the veranda, and overlooking the front garden. The room is complete with a bathroom with a double shower. A truly relaxing area surrounded by jasmine.
With a pool view, there is also a second family room, equipped with a bathroom with wellness shower, double bed and single bed, built-in wardrobe, large sliding doors with automatic shutters.

On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom with air conditioning and heating, chest of drawers, and built-in wardrobe complete with a private bathroom with shower. From here you will have access to the two private roof terraces of 34 and 22 square meters that will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Sicilian countryside and mountains. A perfect place for sunbathing or for a pre-dinner cocktail. Outside, however, you can dive into the extraordinary black infinity pool with chemical water treatment entrusted to a fully automatic system consisting of a saline electrolysis disinfectant generator. The swimming pool, which measures 11 meters long by 7 meters wide, has an access staircase that can be used as a relaxation area together with the submerged chais-longue.

Villa Palma has several private garden areas: a front garden surrounded by jasmine, absolutely unforgettable in the early morning or late afternoon, as well as a large patio that doubles as a veranda. Whoever welcomes you will give you a unique, intimate, and engaging welcome, respecting the place and what surrounds it. In the structure, you will be accompanied in your living room to experience the environment, art, and design in a dialogue with the ever-changing spaces. This old beam inherited and renovated by the current owners, in fact, highlights the characteristics that over time had been hidden under layers of lime such as stone walls, arches, portals, parts of tuff walls from local quarries disused from decades. The furniture also speaks of this place. Inside, the large bedrooms alternate with common areas such as the library, the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room, so each guest can find their own space to relax and enjoy the beneficial effects of the holiday.
During the summer evenings, a light breeze scented with jasmine will envelop you, making it pleasant to stay on the terrace or under the pergola to sip a glass of wine or enjoy the tranquility of the Sicilian countryside.

Your senses will be charmed by this place where the warm sun shines for a long time and the warm Mediterranean Sea touches the earth. Villa Palma is the ideal place to spend a timeless holiday where you will be seduced by Sicily, kissed by the sun, and enveloped by its hills. The focus of this very special place is the colors, the smells, the landscape, the food - unique and special characteristics of this land that you can easily discover. Near the structure, you can visit Erice, a fascinating place made famous by its cobbled streets and medieval houses, or Segesta, with its Doric style temple and its Hellenistic theater, or Trapani, the city surrounded by sea.

About the Location

Italy, Sicily, Trapani Area

The Province of Trapani's magnificent shoreline is lined with stunning coves and beaches that welcome the crystal sea. The seas rush towards the spectacular panorama of the Egadi Islands, echoing with green and deep blue tones at times. This dream-come-true environment is ideal for every sort of vacation, and it is incredibly breathtaking every day of the year. The coast is littered with charming little towns worth visiting – Alcamo, Campobello Di Mazara, Castellammare del Golfo, Castelvetrano, Custonaci, Erice, Marsala, Mazara Del Vallo, Petrosino, San Vito lo Capo, and Trapani – all bustling with life, sun, sounds and smells of the sea, as well as history and monuments.

Even the smallest towns are unique and wonderful places for travelers to visit, with art, history, and nature playing important roles. In the first place, San Vito lo Capo, a Med Sea treasure, has some of Italy's most beautiful beaches. The Tempietto di Santa Crescenza, and the torrazzo, all in Normanic-Arabesque style, will pique your interest. More towers are springing up along the shore, especially at Scieri, Mpisu, and Isulidda. You may read about some of the discoveries made on the seafloor in the Museo del Mare, or Sea Museum, including fragments of a Norman ship that lie deep below - near the place where San Vito lo Capo's icon, the lighthouse, sits.

Sicily is the largest of the Italian islands, separated from the Continent by the Strait of Messina and washed by the Ionian, the Tyrrhenian, and the Mediterranean Seas. It is a true gem of Southern Italy and is a place with abundant nature and rich history and traditions along with outstanding architecture. Nature here seems to have embraced all its versions: mountains, hills, and above all the most magnificent azure sea, with its crystal-clear water and the impeccable beauty of its colorful seabed. Sicily also involves three volcanos, with the most famous being Etna which adds one more color to the unique palette of this mythical island.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
