REVIEW SCORE

Villa del Riso Sardinia is a luxury holiday rental with 4 bedrooms. Overlooking the most beautiful sea in Sardinia, with direct descent on a private beach, Villa del Riso looks to the islet of Piscadeddu, to infinity and beyond. Splendid for its very particular position, it is enchanting due to its shapes that recall a bit the nuraghi, ancient Sardinian constructions.

The beautiful dwelling of about 200 square meters has three bedrooms, two of which are double rooms and one with three beds, a large living room with fireplace and an American kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, and washing machine along with a bathroom with two showers and a second bathroom with shower.

Outside, Villa del Riso has a splendid and very special garden built on the roof of the structure that can also be used as a solarium area. But the enchanting scenery that opens up all around can also be seen sitting comfortably on the veranda with table, for dinners and aperitifs, and wicker sitting area, for unforgettable moments of relaxation.

The villa is undoubtedly the ideal place to enjoy a vacation in absolute privacy. At most up here they will reach you only the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks and the beating of seagulls’ wings.

Not far from here Capo Boi with its beach made up of tiny sandy tongues that characterize crystal-colored waters and with several equally beautiful rocky areas for their wild appearance and Sa Ruxi harbor, a sort of bay characterized by a three-arched beach, with fine white sand, protected behind by low rocks and dense maquis.

Do not miss a visit to Villasimius, also called Crabonaxa in the Sardinian language, a reality inhabited since prehistoric times as evidenced by various nuraghe of the nineteenth century BC and the 6th century BC, as well as ancient Phoenician-Carthaginian settlements bordering the town dating back to the period between the sixth and second centuries BC. and some remains of a Roman nature (3rd century BC and 6th century AD To see also the Cava Usai, a part that once was one of the economic engines of Villasimius.

It is an area that was used to extract the granite, located right by the sea. The landscape that you can admire along the Usai quarry is very unusual and fascinates any visitor; it can be nice to take a picture on top of one of the granite boulders that make it up or look at the various coves, quiet and private, which can be accessed by boat.

About the Location

Italy, Sardinia, Cagliari Province

The province of Cagliari is large and covers almost 20% of the island of Sardinia. Cagliari is also the capital of the whole of Sardinia. This province is in the south of the island and has the Sardinian Sea to the west, the Strait of Sardinia to the south and the South Tyrrhenian Sea to the east. It has the provinces of Nuoro, Oliastra and Oristano to the north and the provinces of Carbonia-Iglesia and Medio Campidano to the west.

Here you will find the paradisiac coastal area Poetta which extends to eight kilometers of sandy beach and boasts crystal clear water.

Cagliari attracts its visitors with its beautiful architecture which includes many historic buildings, masterpieces of Art Nouveau architecture, museums, stunning palaces and art galleries. The fortified quarter known as Castello in the historical center is located high on a rock and it offers amazing panoramic views of the city. The modern side of Cagliari is dotted with tasteful shops and plenty of bars and restaurants.

The terrain is rocky including caves and minerals along both the coast and higher inland areas. Worth visiting is the Molentargius Lagoon which stretches eastwards from the city of Cagliari to the long sandy coast of Poetto. This large lagoon is of great importance as it hosts an ecosystem which attracts many birds and it is home to 180 different species, some of which are extremely rare. There is another regional park in Cagliari, the Sette Fratelli - Monte Generis Regional Park which is an excellent choice for a hike in nature. There are mapped routes and picnic areas and there is also the option of a guide. This area is one of the last remaining homes for Sardinian deer.

Sardinia is the second bigger island of the Mediterranean Sea and it is a mainly mountainous region with a vast natural environment. Here you can swim at the beautiful beaches of Cala Goloritze, Cala Luna and Cala Sisine while Neptune's Grotto is also a well-known destination for its cave which can be reached by boat. Go to the Capo Caccia and take a photo of the wild scenery while the hikers will love the famous Gorropu Gorge. Don’t forget to visit Porto Flavia one of the most important industrial archeology sites in the world.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
