Le Selve Hilltop Villa has a wide infinity pool with a solarium area and is equipped with a wellness area overlooking the garden and Lake. Here guests can even enjoy a Finnish sauna, a large shower, a jacuzzi and a table for outdoor dining. All this is framed by greenery and olive grove, assuring complete privacy. The park is extremely well-kept, with essences flowerbeds and scented flowerings. On request the main pool can be heated to enjoy the outside environment in all seasons.

The wide living room, the dining room and the kitchen are in a spectacular veranda. Facing the lake, this iron and glass conservatory is extremely bright with white ceiling curtains made of fine linen gauze that give a touch of refinement that completes the work. The kitchen is equipped with a central bar with marble top, ideal for family meals or casual cocktails. In the Villa there are three master bedroom suites to welcome our guests in elegance and comfort.

Storica Luxury Mansion has been designed in the twenties by Giancarlo Maroni, famous as the architect of the "Vittoriale degli Italiani" home of the Italian Poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Guests will enjoy an elegant residence which has maintained and respected its historical roots, but at the same time the villa can offer all the comforts and services of a modern structure.

The living area consists of a bright panoramic living room with a piano, a billiard room and a dining room with elegant, original Venetian floors and historical fireplaces. The whole villa is air-conditioned. The villa has 4 double bedrooms, all recently renewed, each with TV and private bathroom. Two of them have their terrace with a stunning lake view.

Storica Luxury Mansion is the perfect accomodation for those who love nature: an orchard is at your disposal, to take fresh fruits for breakfast; guests can also take a walk at sunset along the olive grove; enjoy a moment of relaxation in the jacuzzi or have a poolside barbecue. Guests have at their disposal a wellness area and (on request) a heatable pool too.

About the Location

Italy, Lombardy, Gaino

Gaino is in the province of Brescia in Lombardy, northern Italy. Covering an area of 4,785 km², it is the biggest province of Lombardy. The province stretches between Lake Iseo in the west, Lake Garda in the east, the Southern Rhaetian Alps in the north and the Lombardian plains in the south. The main rivers of the province are the Oglio, the Mella and the Chiese.

Lombardy is located in northern Italy and has Milan as its capital which is a global hub of fashion and finance, with various high-end shops and exquisite restaurants. Its Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral is one of the most imposing masterpieces of Italy and Santa Maria Delle Grazie convent is housing Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of “The Last Supper,” a testimony of centuries of art and culture. North of Milan, famous Lake Como is an upscale alpine resort with breathtaking scenery.

The region of Lombardy shares a border with Switzerland. Stretching from the Alps to the lowlands of the Po Valley, it features diversity in landscape, including the breathtaking mountain chain that boasts the Valchiavenna, Valtellina and the Camonica Valley. So if you are a ski or winter sports lover, you are spot on! Lombardia combines the unique character of Italy with some northern influences, being a winter sports paradise with its extremely popular resorts of Tonale, Bormio, Livigno and Madesimo.

Another aspect that defines the region is its wine production of the Franciacorta area. Also the charm of the great lakes such as Lake Garda, famous Lake Como and Lake Maggiore framed by stately homes, parks and picturesque small towns. The region of Lombardy comprises the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Lecco, Lodi, Mantua, Milan (regional capital), Monza and Brianza, Pavia, Sondrio and Varese.

The birthplace of the Roman Empire and Renaissance, Italy, showcases many of the world’s greatest artworks, architectural buildings and over the top gastronomical proposals. This is the country where the word “style” expresses the whole nation. Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country; among them are Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and Sistine Chapel and da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
