San Vigilio di Marebbe is the northernmost municipality in Val Badia, Dolomites in Italy. It comprises four main centers: Pieve, Rina, Longega and the picturesque San Vigilio at the foot of the Dolomites. This charming mountain village is found in an altitude of 1,200m above sea level.
In Marebbe tradition and modernity coexist in harmony. The resort is set against stunning scenery and offers countless hiking trails but also modern infrastructure. Marebbe includes almost 11,000 hectares of the Fanes - Sennes - Braies national park. The landscape is dominated by the Dolomite peaks which were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009.

San Vigilio is the main village of the municipality of Marebbe away from the main traffic lines at 1,285 m. It is dominated by agriculture and traditional handicrafts. The historic buildings along with the Ladin language still spoken here create a unique nostalgic atmosphere. The center of the village is the Baroque church and the surrounding village square.
