The Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah) is located just 10 minutes south of Ubud and is one of the most sacred places of Bali. Along with this, there is a great variety of Hindu temples that you can visit for free or with a small donation.
Ubud is a great place for shopping and almost a sophisticated experience in respect to the more mass production touristy shops of Kuta.
