Villa Matahari Seseh has become the preferred destination for high-end customers, who prefer to live immersed in the untouched traditional Balinese culture, enjoy almost private and unspoiled beaches just steps away from their villa, ride the waves in Seseh surfing spots, taste fresh fish provided directly from the local fishermen, assist to authentic Balinese ceremonies and traditional dances in the local temples, and relax in a tranquil atmosphere without renouncing to the luxury and style of this villa and the proximity of the busy areas of Kuta and Seminyak or the trending area of Batu Bolong in Canggu.

This contemporary property embraces symmetry and exudes style, fusing some of the traditional Balinese architectural elements: like the pavilions, and the four sloped roofs, with the modern concept of space and featuring crisp white walls, white terrazzo floors, ironwood shingle roofs and decks, and high-quality furnishings. Villa Matahari Seseh is a sumptuous, two stories, four-bedroom villa, characterized by open-air tropical living rooms and an abundance of light, glass, and space. This luxurious property with 2.600 m2 garden areas and 1.200 m2 of built areas, is ideal for weddings and events.

About the Location

Indonesia, Bali, Seseh

Seseh is a tiny traditional fishing village that can be found on the west coast of Bali between Tabanan and Seminyak/Kuta and it still practices the daily rituals of the Hindu faith. It is unique in Bali in that it is an active fishing village that is surrounded by great expansions of lush green rice terraces, still today the main income for the villagers. Seseh is located approximately 20 minutes from Seminyak/Kuta which are the main cosmopolitan areas of Bali and it comes to contrast with them as it is more remote inspiring a sense of true serenity due to its location hidden amongst the rice terraces and against the Indian Ocean. Seseh includes postcard-like sceneries. Its beach is revered by the Balinese as a sacred beach where the celebration of Melasti begins, held 3 days before the Balinese New Year in March. This village is also notable for its great surfing and cultural heritage sites for which Bali was once famous.

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. Exotic temples and palaces embraced by lash nature, are some of its top attractions. After sunset, famous nightspots invite its many visitors to unforgettable nights. You will be amazed by the verdant nature and jungles. Bali also boasts world-class beaches and luxury resorts in hot spots such as Kuta, Seminyak, and Jimbaran where most of the accommodation is right on the beach. They also host some of Bali’s greatest surf spots. The eastern beach resorts are more tranquil and present the most beautiful sunsets. These include Sanur, Nusa Dua and the coast of Candidasa. In east Bali and northern region, you’ll find some world-class diving spots with calm bays. They're home to pristine corals and colorful marine life.

Indonesia is composed of many islands that display cultural and landscape diversity, located off the coast of mainland Southeast Asia in the Indian and Pacific oceans. With nearly 13,500 islands under its jurisdiction, Indonesia offers an adventure for everyone, from exploring ancient temples and hiking active volcanoes to diving in exotic, pristine waters. This country’s history and natural beauty will leave no visitor uncharmed. Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world after China, India and the USA, having the largest Muslim population in the world. It includes over 100 active volcanoes.
